- The PAYBACK Coupon Promotions (the “Promotions”) are available to individuals who are members of both IHG One Rewards and PAYBACK who have selected PAYBACK as their Loyalty Programme Partner Rewards earning preference in their IHG One Rewards account (“Eligible Member(s)”). To participate, an Eligible Member must also register for a Promotion. Eligible Members can register for a Promotion by following the registration instructions outlined in the Coupon on PAYBACK’s Website or App and an Eligible Member must register during the dates stipulated on the Coupon for the Promotion (the “Registration Period”). Eligible Members must register for each Promotion separately during each Registration Period.
- By clicking the "click to redeem" button for a Promotion on the Payback Website or App, an Eligible Member confirms that they have had the opportunity to read and acknowledge these Promotion Terms & Conditions, and by doing so registers for the Promotion and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- An IHG One Rewards member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards programme and this Promotion is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. Capitalised terms that are not defined in these Terms & Conditions shall have the meanings given to them in the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions.
- After registering for a Promotion, an Eligible Member can earn the bonus PAYBACK Points as specified for the Promotion in addition to the regular base Payback Points for the Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays (as defined below) which are consumed at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts during the stay period outlined in the Promotion Coupon on PAYBACK’s Website and App (the “Stay Promotion Period”). Within five (5) days of making a booking of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay, Eligible Members with their earning preference set to PAYBACK will see the estimated PAYBACK Points which will be earned from the Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays reflected in their PAYBACK account. The actual PAYBACK Points will then be added to the Eligible Member PAYBACK account fifteen (15) days after the check-out date of their completed Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. Eligible Members can check their PAYBACK Points balance through their PAYBACK My Account page: https://www.payback.de/punktekonto.
- For purposes of a Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating IHG hotel or resort booked through the IHG Hotels & Resorts website at ihg.com or the IHG Hotels & resorts mobile app using a Qualifying Rate. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify for Partner Rewards in this Promotion. For additional details on Qualifying Rates, please see the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions.
- Note that for purposes of this Promotion multiple checkouts for consecutive nights at the same hotel will count as one (1) Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay and non-consecutive qualifying nights at the same hotel may count as separate Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays. In the event that two or more Eligible Members check into the same room at a Participating Hotel, base and any bonus Payback Points under this Promotion will only be credited to the account of the Eligible Member who made the booking for the Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay for those nights that qualify for the Payback Points. If an Eligible Member books more than one room at a participating IHG Hotel for the same or overlapping nights, they will receive bonus Payback Points for this Promotion on only one of the Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay bookings for the consumed nights that qualify.
- Under this Promotion, base and bonus Payback Points are awarded only in connection with Qualifying Rates and other Eligible Charges attributed to room nights that fall within the Stay Promotion Period and are part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. A Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay must be completed by the end of the applicable Stay Promotion Period to be eligible for the applicable Promotion. Payback Points (base or bonus) will not be awarded for room nights in a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay which are outside of the Stay Promotion Period and room nights in a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay that are completed prior to registration by an Eligible Member for the Promotion are also are not included and not eligible to earn Payback Points.
- To earn Payback points for a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts, PAYBACK members need to be registered as an IHG One Rewards member and select PAYBACK as their earning preference in their IHG One Rewards account prior to check-out of the Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay . Guests who register as an IHG One Rewards member with the front desk at an IHG Hotel during a Qualifying Stay are not eligible to earn Payback Points for this stay. PAYBACK Points are awarded to Eligible Members on a base rate of one (1) point per €2 spent on Qualifying Rates and Eligible Charges at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts properties as indicated in the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions from time to time.
- Earning bonus Payback Points during a Promotion means that the total number of regular “base points” and promotional “bonus points” combined will equal a multiplier of the number of base points the Eligible Member would normally receive on the Qualifying Rate and Eligible Charges. To receive base Payback Points, an Eligible Member must have selected PAYBACK as their Loyalty Programme Partner Rewards earning preference in their IHG One Rewards account and to be eligible for the bonus Payback Points applicable to the Promotion the Eligible Member must also have registered for that specific Promotion. For example, if both of these requirements have been met, then a Eligible Member with a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay that includes two (2) qualifying room nights with a per night room rate of €100.00 at an IHG Hotel with a one (1) point per €2 earn rate for base points would be eligible to earn 100 base PAYBACK Points (1 point x €100/night x 2 nights = 100 points) and if the Promotion offered the Eligible Member a 2X coupon, the Eligible Member would then earn an additional 100 promotional bonus PAYBACK Points, for a total of 200 PAYBACK Points for their Qualifying Rate spend.
- Participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts are those operating under the following brands at the time of the qualifying stay and are subject to the hotels participating in the Promotion: Intercontinental® Hotels & Resorts, Regent® Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, Hotel Indigo®, HUALUXE® Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®, Holiday Inn Resort®, Garner™ Hotels, EVEN® Hotels, voco® Hotels, Vignette™ Collection, Atwell Suites™, avid® Hotels, Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites®. Six Senses® Hotels Resorts & Spas, Ruby Hotels and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts are also included among the IHG Hotels & Resorts brands but not all Six Senses Hotels Resorts & Spas, Ruby Hotels and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts participate in IHG One Rewards or are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards programme and therefore may not participate in a Promotion.
- Room types and rates available in the Promotion may vary by region and by IHG Hotel and are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply for each IHG Hotel. Any unused components of a rate are non-refundable. Rates are per room, per night, and extra person charges and rollaway bed charges may apply. Unless expressly included, rates do not include taxes, gratuities, resort fees, parking fees, or incidental charges, including food and beverages. The use of certain rates may be subject to applicable agreement(s). Other restrictions may apply. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG reserves the right of interpretation of the Promotion, as well as the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Promotion.
- An Eligible Member receiving PAYBACK Points in connection with a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays due to their Loyalty Programme Partner Rewards earning preference or their participation in a Promotion is not entitled to and will not receive IHG One Rewards points for the same stay. IHG may retract, or decline to award, points if the member was not eligible to receive the points under the Promotion or in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. IHG may also revoke all points in a member’s IHG One Rewards account if the member abuses the IHG One Rewards programme, including but not limited to abuse of the point redemption process. IHG also expressly reserves the right to remove an IHG One Rewards member's points, downgrade their status, or cancel their account if fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion is detected, and any fraudulent activity or other prohibited activity relating to a member’s IHG One Rewards account, this Promotion, restricted rate offerings, or the IHG One Rewards programme is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. Eligible Members must make any enquiries regarding a Promotion by the end date of the Stay Promotion Period.
- Payback Points accrued and the benefits issued by Payback are subject to change and the rules of the Payback programme. Payback may change the Payback programme including but not limited to the rules, terms and special offers of the Payback programme or terminate the Payback programme at any time and without notice.
