One of the largest Shakespeare festivals in the world, ASF produces more than a dozen professional theatre productions each year at the Carolyn Blount Theatre in Wynton M. Blount Cultural Park. The 250-acre park setting, two performance spaces, and year-round programming make it a standout cultural destination in Montgomery.

Alabama's oldest fine arts museum, founded in 1930, features more than 4,000 works including 19th- and 20th-century American paintings, Southern regional art, and Old Master prints. Located at the site of Rosa Parks' 1955 arrest in downtown Montgomery, this museum tells the story of Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott through artifacts, a restored 1950s city bus, court documents, and multimedia exhibits. The nation's only museum dedicated to Rosa Parks is owned and operated by Troy University.

Montgomery's premier open-air shopping and dining destination, The Shoppes at EastChase, offers more than 60 stores and restaurants including Target, Whole Foods, Costco, and a wide range of dining options. Located about five miles from the hotel, it's a convenient stop for shopping, groceries, or a meal out.

A tribute to country music's first superstar, the Hank Williams Museum in downtown Montgomery houses the most complete collection of Hank Williams memorabilia in existence. Highlights include his 1952 baby blue Cadillac, 17 stage suits, personal artifacts, rare film footage, and over 35 exhibit cases of items from his life and career.
