We got into town a few hours earlier than check in time and they let us unload our luggage off my motorcycle into a secure room until our room was ready for us to check into. they even asked us if we want to use their indoor pool while we are waiting. That was very nice of the staff to accommodate us like that before check in time. November 19, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It was OK. This is the first time I have stayed at a Candlewood Suites. I was not too impressed. The rooms needed signficant cleaning -- especially the carpets. I would NOT walk barefooted on the carpet because of the dirt. It also made the room smell musty. One had to keep the A/C on in order to keep the smell away. The beds and pillows are old and desperately need replaced. The hot tub did not work while we were there but the pool is nice and it was nicely heated. The pool towels were pretty small and thin. Towels were great -- big and thick. The laundry is free -- just bring your own soap/softener. The staff was friendly and even delivered the towels to the room because one of their dryers were broken and they weren't dry when I went to pick them up. The advantage of this one over Extended Stay is that it does have a pool and a fitness center. I doubt that I would stay there again....unless they renovate it, replace carpets, etc. November 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Particularly impressed with the staff I had a long drive in from West Virginia and as soon as I arrived to Columbus, I wanted to lay my head at a brand I trust. Lucky for me the Candlewood Suites Polaris was one minute away from I-71! I walked in and they had my room ready. Not to mention the exceptionally sweet staff!... November 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend stay for nearby wedding 1. Received a room with one double bed for a reservation for two people (too small and mattress wasn't very comfortable) 2. No ice machines (freezers in rooms make ice but you have to do it yourself and I didn't know this until I actually wanted to use ice) 3. Parking lot was being repaved so every spot was full upon arrival. I tried to park at an end spot but the next morning I was blocked in by cones and caution tape. 4. People were skateboarding right next to my car in the parking lot November 4, 2014

Everything was ready for me and the staff even remembered which room I like and provided me with one of the newer recliner chairs that I just love. They were great. The room was very fresh smelling and ready to go when I arrived. To me it doesn't get much better than that. November 2, 2014
