    Room was adequate but the smoking rooms may not get the same attention as the non-smoking rooms. The interior window curtains had yellow stains on them, the recliner had bare spots on the arms and you could see faint areas where it appears that the carpet had been stained and there appeared to be a messy repair or repaint along the shower wall in the bathroom. They do not have a TV guide available from their cable provider and eventhough you can find a tv guide on line, the channels listed in their channel guide (missing from the room and the HBO guide was missing) do not correspond to the channels in the online channel guide. This stay was a bit dissapointing when compared to a previous stay in a Candlewood Suites hotel in Ardmore OK, other wise it was a pleasant stay as the staff was courteous and helpful. The Hotel is located in an area of many restuarants, a large shopping mall and is conveintently located close to the I71 freeway.

    We are so sorry for the problems you experienced while staying with us. We are undergoing a complete renovation soon which will address many of the issues you mentioned. Most of our rooms have new recliners with the rest being replaced by the end of summer. It appears you had one of the old ones that is worn. The curtains in the smoking rooms also will be replaced shortly. We are glad you liked the staff. Come see us again soon, especially after the renovation.

    Traveling with Family? Excellent location

    I travel to Columbus several times each year for up to a week at a time. I had stayed at the north Candlewood and thought I would try this one. The staff and hotel are excellent and there is a lot to do right around the hotel. This hotel is great fro family's but can be quite "busy" for the business traveler. I reccommend this hotel.

    room was clean and roomy. bed was comfortable and we slept good. Good mattress. I wish breakfast or some free snacks were offered.
