    Dear JGCH01, On behalf of the Candlewood Suites Fort Stockton and staff, we wish to thank you for your patronage during your travels to/from San Angelo. You are correct, we are fortunate to have our hotel located right off Interstate 10, giving access to and from to all of guest. I am sorry to read that you were not happy with the ADA Suite you were given. When you book a room, the confirmation guarantees you a suite/room, the request of a king/queen/one bedroom suite is simply a request, we will make every attempt to meet that request, however in my hotel we only have a total of 74 units, and because we are an extended stay hotel and in the middle of Oil and Gas Country, we find it hard to meet the request of many of our transient guest. However, we do attempt to reach each and every one of our guest to inform them of our situation, in your case we did not and for that we apologize. When traveling thru West Texas again, please allow us another opportunity to cater to you and your family, we will attempt to provide you with your request. We appreciate you and your loyalty!     I have already done my review, my concern was the room was not cleaned when we came back from our outdoor activities. Liz - the evening front desk girl was very nice but she was not at customer oriented. we tried several times if it is not in your up to you, give us the contact of her superior, she will not do that. This made us kind of upset and she got upset as well after our repeated requests. Anyhow to cut story short we had a sorry experience.

    Breakfast was nothing except oats with hot water, coffee, tea and fruits.

    No folding bench for putting our bags in closet, and closet had a sweat odor.

    Alarm clock was not functional.

    Dear Rockkhana, I am sorry to read that your overall experience was a horrible one, please accept my apology. I am certain that ALL of my front desk staff is equipped and trained to handle all guest concerns and or request to assure they have a comfortable stay, and for that we have failed. This is the reason I have my business cards located on the counter top, my cell phone is not on their but any one who requires my number is asked to leave their contact information for me to call them back. In reference to breakfast, because we are an extended stay hotel equipped with a full kitchen, we have breakfast options for purchase, our brand does not have hot breakfast however as a courtesy, I do provide bananas, oranges and on occasion apples. Oatmeal, Hot Cocoa, Hot Teas Packets are complimentary, that is standard throughout ALL Candlewood Suites, some of them charging for the fruit not, us. In the future, when traveling, please feel free to call the hotel to inquire on the amenities that are important to you, our brand is limited in providing such as the ones you mentioned. We also welcome a call to the front desk, so our trained Guest Service Representative can relocate you or fix the problem immediately, do not wait until you depart and then complain on line, it does us no good to improve your stay when you have vacated the suite.     Warning - NO hot breakfast

    Nice room and facility = A+

    However, this location gets an "F" and I would not stay here again. NO hot breakfast. Are you kidding me? We drove over 400 miles to wake up to a bowl of oatmeal? This is an expensive room and there are multiple hotel choices here in Ft. Stockton that all serve hot breakfast. In addition, there are NO places here in town to get a good breakfast so the traveler is forced to drive to another town to eat.
