Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kicked me out of my room. I tried to extend my stay and the staff very rudely told me I could not stay because they had sold my room even though I still had two days to go until check out. I love the hotel but in my business extending a stay is very common sometimes necessary I had to drive to the next town to get a hotel. January 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wunderbar! This was one of the nicest hotels I've visited. The staff attended to my every need. I lounged in the lobby and watched Monday Night Football as I read one of the hotel's books. The room was clean and spacious like most suites from Candlewood, but it even smelled like it had just been cleaned. Wonderful! There is a Culver's in the parking lot that I promptly visited for lunch the next day. The cupboard was convenient and inexpensive for my dinner in the room. All in all, I was completely satisfied with everything about the stay here. December 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Candlewood's Best This is the nicest, cleanest Candlewood that I've stayed at so far. I travel for my job 70% of the time and always try to stay at IHG properties. I would rate this as THE number-one property in the Candlewood chain and in the top-three of all the IHG hotels I've stayed at. The DirecTv in the room is really nice to have because most places don't give you that many channel choices. A special thank you to Brie at the front desk for being so sweet . I'd give her 10-stars if I could. She should be the employee of the month and deserves a promotion for her excellent customer service. This will be my "go to" hotel in Northern CO from now on! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff: Polite, Friendly, & Efficient; Breakfast? Kudos especially to "Brie" and the rest of the front-desk staff. One unpleasant surprise: on-line search for "breakfast included" was a factor in my choosing this delightful, brand-new Greeley, Colo. inn. But breakfast is only the "Cupboard" where various food items are sold either for cash or added to room-bill. The place is handy for snacks or light lunch, but a big letdown from a street-full of competitors' continental breakfasts, some rather extensive. October 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by negative press We checked into the Candlewood because we were on mandatory evacuation due to flooding in our city. We had no place to go. we paid three days in advance in cash to stay there. On the third day I went to the desk to try to extend our stay for another day and I was told that our room had already been booked out. I could not understand how our room could be booked out since our check out time was not until 11am the next day. I was staying at the Candlewood with my husband and our three young daughters. Our only choice offered by Candlewood was a another room for 40.00 more than what we had paid with only 1 queen bed and a coach that turned into a bed. I was not allowed to rebook the same room we were still in. I really do not feel that this was good business practices on the hotel's part. We were basically homeless until the evacuation orders were lifted but that did not seem to matter to the staff. They told me the other person paid in advance. We paid in advance in cash. I will not hesitate to tell others about this because I believe it was wrong. We were already under a lot of stress due to the floodi but then to find out we had no place to go unless we paid more for a room that would not accommodate us was wrong. I even went as far as telling the staff that we could not pay a higher fee because we were in between a rock and a hard place but that did not matter. September 22, 2013
