Bad internet

I stay at this property at least one week each month. The last several trips the wifi strenth has been very weak and at times unusable. I've had to resort to using my cell phone's mobile hotspot in order to do work. I've complained several times to front desk staff who simply give me a 1-800 number for a 3rd party internet service provider. That number is not staffed after 5PM, and even if it were, I think it is more a matter the hotel should take up with its provider, not one it should ask a guest to look into. Will have to consider staying elsewhere if I can't have reliable internet access during the work week.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Boston! I've stayed in many hotels around the world and this one is fantastic! I'd stay there again when back in Boston for sure.

Clean but outdated.

Pros:
-Room and bathroom were extremely clean.
-Bathroom amenities excellent
-Friendly staff
-Excellent breakfast service and staff

Cons:
-You can hear all the traffic from the outside
-Bed was not quiet or comfortable
-When the drunks use the ice machine at 2am to fill their cooler, it wakes you up
-Had to use extra pillows to shut out light from hallway and outside

GREAT Service

I recently stayed at the Crown Plaza Boston - Newton and couldn't be more please with the service and quality of the hotel. I was traveling with my 19 year old son who is new to being wheelchair bound and this was our first traveling experience, coming to Boston from the Midwest. The ADA room with the roll-in shower worked perfectly for us and the attentiveness and support of the staff was SUPERIOR. We were particularly please with the great service from the gentleman, whose name I did not get, in the restaurant for breakfast each morning. The location was great for getting downtown and around Boston and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Boston.
