Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Friendly, professional and helpful staff This Holiday Inn property in San Clemente has a great location (within walking distance to excellent restaurants, shops and the beach / pier) with some of the best staff that I have ever encountered. The value of this hotel is exceptional and I highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling to San Clemente on business or pleasure. 9. Juni 2014
Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by San Clemente Stay The overall hotel was nice and clean and the location is great. However the hotel staff did not have skills/ training in customer service. If they did it was not shown; My first impression was when I asked for coffee.Most hotels always have fresh coffee, upon check in. When I asked for coffee the front desk person said no we do not have any and if you want you can brew some in your room or go to Starbucks, this was not good warm hospitality and not the kind that makes a person want to return to your hotel. I was expecting to find a "State of the Art" fitness center as advertised. Let me enlighten you, it is not. Nothing in the fitness center worked. Not one piece of equipment worked, not the stationary cycle or both elepticals. There was not one working piece of fitness equipment in working order, you also advertised a tread mill, but there was not one.. There was not a remote for the TV either. I called the front desk and he came down and said to me" what channel do you want the TV on, I guess he planned on being my personal remote while I tried to get a workout. I said to him I can change it myself but I prefer to use a remote since I intended to work out.. After all that I hopped on the Eleptical, then bicycle and none were working. Nope, no state of the art fitness center here. So I reported it to the maintenance person. That evening, we called the front desk from 9 -9:30 pm continually, we had an issue with the toilet and the phone rang and rang and no one answered, I repaired it myself. When we told the hotel person at the front desk the next morning, he shrugged his shoulders and said "someone should have answered". I went down the next morning at 7 am ready to have breakfast at the restauraunt. I walked around the restaurant to see if I could find someone but there was no staff in sight so I left. It is sad that the staff lacks training becuase the location is ideal and that is the reason we choose to stay at your hotel. There was also a very foul odor in the elevator each morning and was told that that was the way it was. A little Febreez would have helped. Oh, and one other thing, it appears that the maids have their children playing in the rooms while they were cleaning them, hope my stuff was safe. This is strike two for Holliday Inn, Last one I stayed in had a roach at the breakfast bar. 4. Juni 2014

Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Poor Priority Club Service I am a platinum priority club member and have stayed in many Holiday Inns. I could not believe that nothing was offered for the priority club member. This is unbelievable. I also stayed in a two room mini suite(room 301) and could not believe that the only TV was in the bedroom without a chair, just the bed. Whatever happened to putting a TV in the sitting area. The restaurant was closed by 11:00 am on Sunday and was not open for dinner at all. What gives. All in all for the rate of 189 per night this is not a good value and I would never recommend it or return to this hotel. 9. Mai 2014

The Resturant may not not a 5 Start the Manager/Owner is extremely helpful, attentive and eager to please. This is my second stay and I'm planning on returning. If they recommend a Resturant, go there, they know what there talking about. 1. Mai 2014
