I would like to say, the establishment is good and the hotel is nicely located even not so far from city center. I already been here and liked it, however this stay have several big problems which I want to share with others as points of warning as well as for management of hotel to improve.
First non-smoking rooms – in fact the whole floor is non-smoking so it bugs me how it’s possible that many times there was an intense smell of smoking on corridor obviously going from some rooms. I would put there a smoke detectors and even staff should notice those quite easily. It is really bothersome as you are on nonsmoking room but you have constant flow of cigarette smoke coming in…
Reception services – each receptionist will tell you different information; mainly on the case of taxi, need of registration for migration and pricing. That’s connected to main part which really astonished me ->
Wrong bills – we eat in terrace; restaurant and use taxi. Taxi bill was told to use will be for by one person XY KZT next day half the price in KZT, nothing was signed just that they should put it on room. On final billing price is double of KZT and signature forged. Terrace bill correct. Restaurant bill one correct, second triple the value and we found out food is correct but at advance we had several coffees, cappuccinos etc. When checked the originals of bills were nowhere to found but reception demands to be paid. Really bad experience and feeling robbed is still there as we tried to catch a flight so no time to check everything to details.

A nice hotel; good, clean, comfortable room; good service. The only downside is slow wireless.

I had problems with the call City taxi - their cars were not allowed to the hotel and I had to go to the gate.
I have repeatedly stayed at this hotel Holiday Inn, but every time the managers give me a late check-out only up to 14 or 15 hours. Every time I have to prove their right to a late check-out up to 16 hours and only after consultation with the leadership of managers give me a late check-out up to 16 hours.
Also, breakfast is not always the level of the hotel 4 stars - often at the end of the breakfast is not enough food, an assortment of snacks and meals offered by a small, cheese is 1 or 2 species and not the lushche.
Uncomfortable are hot dishes, with lids that can not be open and secure - it is necessary to keep the lid hand that disturbs.

bed sheets and pillows were soft and comfortable.
It is important when you are on a long travel where you just need a comfortable bed.
