Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good spot for visit to downtown Enjoyed the stay here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and the bed and pillows were great. Easy walk to Rainey St. district, and even downtown. The only trouble with the location is that there is only one entrance off the service road, and GPS directions will take you off on exit 233, which is only about 100 ft from the turn in. It's almost impossible to move across the lanes of traffic and make the right hand turn in time, even if you know it's there. If you're lucky enough you might at least make it onto the Lady Bird Lake exit, where you can circle the block and make it back. Otherwise you're over the river and it's an arduous set of turns to make it back. May 20, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was Disgusting I spoke with the front desk about the below issues and it seemed like they did not care!!! I stay in Holiday Inns all over the United States for business and the property was Disgusting.. 1. The rooms A/C did not work. 2. There was food left in the hallway all day and night and there where FLIES all over the hallway due to the food being left there all day. 3. The toilet would not flush unless you flushed it 3 or 4 times. 4. The Pillows had red stuff all over them including black stuff that looked like grease. I will NOT stay in the location again and i will let everyone now not to stay in this location in Austin!!!!! May 12, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worn, weary and tired hotel This stay was tolerable because of the staff who went out of their way to help but judging from the conditions this Hotel should have been renovated a long time ago. Broken hot water pipe under the bar floor for an extended amount of time is unacceptable. Three days out of seven no housekeeping because we left our room at 11a.m. And they were off to I don't know where. Situation was only rectified after a second trip to front desk. The public areas were dirty, sticky floors, carpets in hallways that weren't vacuumed for days (there was a dirty toothpick on the carpet on the 7th floor that was there for 3 days). I understand there is a complete renovation planned but the hotel has to be constantly maintained and not run into the ground until the next renovation. I was very surprised with this being a Holiday Inn and part of the IHG family at its lack of maintenance and cleanliness. May 10, 2015
