Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Work in progress Dated hotel with work in progress. Old rooms, but clean and reasonable quiet despite situated next to the interstate. Downtown within 15 minutes walk along the river. Free parking outside the hotel. easy access from the Interstate. October 1, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service The hotel needs some TLC but it appears that is happening now. However, that does not distract from the great service of this place. In much fancier places (not that this place is a dump), every request is an opportunity for a fee but not here. Over several days, every front desk person that I encountered was helpful and didn't seem to be bothered by requests. When you travel, hearing "NO" or "I don't know" or "I can't help you" can ruin the experience. I really don't know what requests would get that answer here. I couldn't find it. In the room you are going to find a passable (not 5 star) experience. Its clean, has a refrigerator and microwave. The location is convenient to the convention center and downtown but driving here can be a little difficult (don't trust the GPS if you are new to town). I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed My first room i was not able to open the door so i was put in a new room... then the new room was dirty with old clients food in the refrigerator it smell a bit... i didnt call them because it was late and the clerk was already rude. Then i notices part of the carpet was dirty. Over all i was very disappointed. September 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Review of stay I was really disappointed in the overall ambience of the building, carpet and paint. The hotel appeared old and looked like it hasn't been updated in a very long time. The room was clean to my satisfaction, but the hallway smelled bad. The meeting that we attended provided breakfast and lunch. I will say that the food was very good. I was pleasantly surprised. I would probably stay in another Holiday Inn, but not this one. This hotel was conveniently located near Convention center, the famous Rainey Street, beds are comfortable even the cot we ended up getting, you get a set of soft & firm pillows, staff was friendly and accommodating, complimentary shuttle to the airport was definitely a +. I can go on. Overall, I had an excellent experience. September 22, 2015
