Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Usually a good hotel but let down on this occasion. We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and it is usually a great stay. This time We stayed in the Richard E Byrd suite which was great value for the price. However neither TV worked when we got into the suite. Maintenance did come and fix them but the next morning neither of them was working again. We ordered room service but they didn't have any of the pasta dish that we wanted left. The burger was great and a good big portion size but the fish was greasy and the mushy peas were stone cold. They did bring replacement, hot mushy peas when I phoned room service to complain. Items were also missing from our breakfast order which were delivered after we phoned room service to complain. They were very apologetic that there were no bananas left. I used the swimming pool and steam room which was nice and quiet and a decent size but none of the lockers in the ladies changing room locked so there was nowhere secure to leave your room key (which you need to get into the changing rooms). Also you need to take a towel from your room as there are none in the changing rooms. I reported the locker situation to reception who seemed unaware of it. January 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Holiday Inn ever ! This Holiday Inn must be the best I have stayed in and this was due to its attentive & helpful staff. In particular the beautiful lady on reception (Foiza ?) who seemed to move mountains to help us check in early after a mix up in flight times. Please give this lady a promotion as this is the benchmark for customer service. Well done and keep it up ! January 16, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by .... If the heating in my room had been working or it had been fixed then my overall review would have been a lot more positive. I could not fault the staff or the cleanliness of the hotel but in the middle of winter to not have any heating in my room was ridiculous. I asked to be moved rooms and was told I couldn't because there were no other rooms and it was not possible to fix my heating so I was given a tiny heater that did not really do a lot.
