Had a brilliant stay. The staff were extremely welcoming, and the shuttle service to my company's office was great. The only negative was the aircraft noise in my room.

Two nights at what should have been a great stay BUT Wifi not working needed to get master password on second day. Try as I could I could not get TV to work and I'm not that thick that I did not try. The light on the working desk was so dim it was not possible to spread light enough to work on multiple papers. Food was not great I ate out on the second night.
Room design was very nice and staff very helpful.
Unless things improve will not stay again.

I chose this property for the free shuttle they have to the airport and was impressed by everything. Check-in was quick and efficient with recognition of my plan status. Room was creative and comfortable, great desk area for a little work. The restaurant on the 3rd floor was very nice but, of course, a little expensive for what they offer. Shuttle to the airport was a full-blown bus with soft seats and storage under the bus in the luggage compartment. I highly recommend the Brussels Airport Holiday Inn.

Good with everything except the window in the room I stayed on on the 6th floor was not sealed when shut so still let cold air in.
The staff provided an additional heater. Excellent service

My son and I had a great stay at this hotel compare to Holiday inn Elysée in Paris.
We had a delicious break fast and we will stay at his hotel in the future.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that the area outside the bar was set for dinner. Usually only the 3rd floor restaurant serves evening meals, so it was great to sit out in the sunshine for a change.
The gym is well-equiped, and the pool was very relaxing.
The company shuttle service was faultless on this stay (although I have experiences quite a few problems with the shuttle not arriving in the past).
I did not receive a Priority Club room on this occasion.

Excellent hotel for reasonable prices. Friendly and service minded staff. Nice swimmingpool area and fitness, but please repair spa pool. We use your hotel as often as possible in particular because of your nice fitness, swimmingpool and spa area. We though often have the surprise that either the swimmingpool hasn't been heated (this winther once) or the spa bath is not working. It's a shame because it's a very attractive point for your hotel.
A part from those details, we only have positive to say. Excellent service, friendly staff, good food, spacious room, etc. etc.

Looks much better inside than outside.
The rooms are very good - nice modern decor and fittings.
Restaurant/Breakfast is not cheap, but serves good food and drinks.
Very friendly staff.
Nice bar with outside area (though service is slow)
Good relaxation, pool and "wellness" area.
Missing candy/snack vending machines: Only drinks available and in the lobby only rather expensive "desserts" from a fridge.
For an airport hotel - can certainly recommend it.

We normally use this hotel when transitioning to and from Europe through BRU. To save time, I will mention things of note that drove our decision to leave the IHG family of hotels from this point forward.
Reserved (and paid in advance for) Superior room and was given standard room. The hotel staff insisted I only was entitled to a standard room even after I showed the confirmation email. The customer is always right with a validating email from IHG.
The food orders on the 3rd floor were wrong and late. Since they no longer serve food downstairs during the week, we were forced to go upstairs.
I asked for the next shuttle to the airport and received a curt response, "not until this evening and that is clearly posted on the website. You can take a taxi out front."
Still no recognition for IHG Rewards Club Members.
Brussels prices for drink/food - 6 Euro beer and 25 Euro plates.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. I experienced the same issue the first time and it appears it is not just me. I monitored others at the facility and saw similair issues.
I ordered dinner in the 3rd floor dinning room. The soup was not served until I requested it again. The entre was incorrect. The desert was incorrect. The staff was very cordual and reasonably respinsive. They offered some assistance after their erros but I was not impressed.
The hotel itself was fine. The dinning room appears to have some issues. I will probably not stay there again.

Very comfortable rooms with free wifi and coffee machine. Free shuttle to airport and local offices.
Breakfast is good if expensive. Very attentive and pleasant staff.

I visit this Hotel regularly on Business and I have to say that the staff and facilities are consistently good, the Leisure facilities are always well presented and the style of the Hotel is modern and fresh.
I would recommend this Hotel.

Overall this hotel is OK. Is pretty basic, exceeding at nothing, but then failing at nothing either as a business hotel.
However, I am REALLY unhappy (and on this will stay down the road at another hotel I have stayed in before in future despite being an HI member) that it is now not possible to get a basic dinner in the bar. After a long day working, with emails etc to catch up on, and preference not to spend the night in the room, I like to have a simple dinner in the bar, a couple of drinks and do some work. In the HI I need to go to the formal restaurant (which BTW is pretty good food standard) to get any food. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I have made this complaint a few times to reception. Many of my colleagues have the same view. I see it as a simple way to make us pay more for a bite to eat and to ensure our comfort is not respected.
So for me, last week was the last week I stay here.
Bring back basic bites in the bar....

Of the last three times I have stayed in this hotel over a span of 2 months, the heating was always troublesome. For some reason they do not seem to take your feedback seriously. The staff was good and courteous and the restobar is also great. They had to bring me a room heater eventually. But don't expect discounts or niceties because of poor service. Due to the cold room, I was uncomfortable the entire night.

From the outside it may look like a worn hotel, but the inside provided a surprising contrast, with a pleasant bar area and lobby. The room had an efficient layout with large desk behind the bed and the TV mounted on outside wall was easily visible from both desk and bed. The food was quite good for being a hotel restaurant. Check out may be somewhat slow, but I find that fairly typical of European hotels. The train station while not as close as they indicated, is within walking distance. Good value for a nights stay and I would be happy to stay again.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Brussels Airport for 6 nights. The check-in and check-out services were pretty slow. There was always long line between 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. The staffs seem to be tired or overrun. The house keeping staff won’t pick up laundry bag and I need to deliver my laundry bag to front desk. The room was small and background noises were annoying from time to time. The breakfast buffet was OK but the dinner was too expensive and was not very good in taste and in small portion. There are many other hotel near Brussels Airport and I will stay at other hotel next time instead of Holiday Inn.

Very good room, bed and bathroom.

I was totally disappointed with my stay at this Holiday Inn. The heat didn't work in my room and had to change after an hour of being cold. The next room although a no-smoking room smelled like an ash tray.
I went to have a drink in the bar, but waited over a half hour, and had to go to the front desk so they could locate the bar tender. When I was finished, I had to go through the same process to pay the bill.
The restaurant was freezing both for dinner and the next morning for breakfast.
I was glad to check out.

I was in Belgium on a business trip to NATO. However, because I booked the reservation under a government rate I did not receive any breakfast in the morning. The government rate was also more expensive than the NATO rate. At check in I spoke to the manager, named Ms. Lies, and she would not assist me in any way adjusting my reservation or comping me with a breakfast. Even though I am a platinum member and showed her my government orders that I was on a NATO business trip, she would not accomodate me with a meal for the morning. This may seem like a small complaint but because of the customer service accomodating what I believe to be a small fix on the computer I would not stay here again. Recommendation to all US travellers there on business to NATO. Do not book your reservation on line but instead call the hotel and book your reservation over the phone under the NATO rate. You'll get a better rate and a breakfast.

The pool sauna and gym are outstandingly good altough I did have to report that some of the wooden slats on the benches in the sauna are coming a bit loose.
The newly refurbished rooms are very nice.
The food is good but the menu does not change very often so it can get tedious if you eat there a lot

I use this hotel very regularly and it is my preferred option. However, the surly and very poor service from a particular member of the bar staff has happened once too often for me to ignore. Several colleagues have commented in the past and switched to a competitor hotel.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant staff was especially pleasant despite having only two people to tend bar, wait tables, and handle room service. The waiting time at the bar and restaurant were grossly unacceptable, but it was not the fault of the staff, who were working very hard. There simply wasn't enough staff to handle the workload. Unfortunately, there was no other place to eat within walking distance, or else I would have walked out of the restaurant. If I am ever stuck at the Brussels airport again I would take my chances with a different hotel chain.

The rooms are good, clean and comfortable.
However both the bar and the restaurant stop serving food at 22:30, which is not good for an airport hotel. Room service was terrible.

The Holiday Inn Brussels Airport delivered what was required with friendly and efficient staff. Rooms were modern and clean. Location close to the international airport with a frequent shuttle. Rail station was also reasonably close and taxis were readily available. Would be hotel of choice in future where good airport access required.
