Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The room was good, but there are some issues with the amenities The room was clean and comfortable with very effective air conditioning. The location a minute's walk from the trams that served the center of Dijon was very convenient allowing us to avoid taking the car into the city. I had two issues. First, the pool was closed, a big let down for my kids on a hot July day. Second, like many Holiday Inns in France, the breakfast was priced much the same as a threes course lunch at a restaurant so my family decided to forgo having breakfast at the hotel. The management needs to understand that such prices might be okay for a business person on an expense account, but are too high for a middle class family on summer vacation. July 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Outdoor service It is a pity that the outdoor area is not finished. We had to travel into the city to be able to hav a drink outdoors. But on doing that there is an outstanding tram service to the city center, plus the park by the hoyel was a nice experience. July 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best way to explore Dijon Perfect for a base to explore the historic town, with easy tram service from the hotel front door to the centre of the city. The facilities have recently been refurbished with a comfortable bar and once the lifts and swimming pool are finished it will be an obvious choice for both business conferences and for enjoying the atmosphere of Dijon, one of my favorite French towns. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value A well equiped room, 15 mn by tramway from most places of interest in Dijon. The air condition system, needs improvement : it randomly switches by itself from cooling to heating and needs the customer to ask for correct tuning at reception several times a day (the problem is fixed very quickly each time but not definitively !). Nevertheless I recommend this location which features a good ratio overall quality / rate. June 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Just got back after staying for 3 nights at the hotel. Was greeted with a warm welcome, and got a newly renovated room at the far side of the hotel. Room was, as a renovated room should be, very clean and shiny. Bed was very comfortable, sheets felt new, and bathroom (and especially the shower) were great. The restaurant is perhaps one of the best features of this hotel - Breakfast was plentiful and of very high quality (the variety of cheeses was a very nuce touch). Dinner was also out of this world - the rib eye steaks are great in this place! Plus the servicewas very good 0 both attentive and polite. Didn't feel bothered at all by the on going renovations. One con I could find - was hardly recognized as an IHG Platinum member (not water/fruit/whatsoever) and no option to choose from a 500 point voucher/drink. That's was a shame. Great hotel! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK but .... Just to qualify my review - I paid for the stay with my HI Points. Our stay was OK. I spoke to a frequent guest who said that a few months ago the hotel was in the middle of and looked like it was part of a building site. The worst of that is now over though there was still some internal refurbishment in progress when we were there. This was compensated for by an upgrade to a Business Room - which was nice. Bizarrely in my view, though it may be welcomed by some guests, the hotel is now surrounded by a Shopping Centre. It had only just opened on our second visit trams both to and from the hotel were packed. If that continues then getting from the hotel to the centre of Dijon will not be as comfortable and easy as it once was. However, two things annoyed me about our stay. The first is that we were handed a slip of paper on check in, written in both French and English. We were then told that the cost of breakfast (17 Euros each) would be added to our bill unless we returned the slip at the time of checkout. Never before have I been charged for an optional service in advance and then had to prove that I had not taken it in order to obtain a refund. I'm not even sure that's legal. The second was a lack of English speaking channels on the TV. I believe I am right in saying that there were only 2 - BBC World News and CNN, not much of a choice and not very relaxing after a long days drive. There were in excess of 20 French Channels - why not it a French hotel, but I'm sure that the hotel gets a significant number of English speaking guests and they should be better catered for.
