Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Ice Storm Stay We had to make an emergency stop here, because of the ice storm, on Jan 18 2015. The rooms were great, the beds were awesome. Food was good, but a little expensive, but its a hotel, so it is what it is. The staff was really nice and helpful! I definitely would recommend. January 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Rooms, Great Breakfasts My room was updated and comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The ONLY negative thing about my room was the motion sensor controlled heater. The heater would Turn Off (Without Exaggeration) after less than 10 minutes. I would be working on my computer on the desk and before the room comfortably heated up the heater would turn off. Most importantly it turned off at night less than 10 minutes after going to bed while temps outside where in the teens. Just waving arms, pillows, legs didn't restart it. The second you stood up it clicked back on. (Aggravating!!) I called the front desk, the maintenance man came to the room and said he couldn't reset the sensor....... We needed a room to be near family function the next day with impending snowstorm. so we arrived late and left early, so our stay was short, but the room was clean, the property was well kept, and the room was fairly priced. The room had two queen sized beds which were comfortable and well-sheeted. The lobby is nicely decorated and the front desk attendant was friendly. Check-in was quick and easy with the reservation made earlier. No complaints about anything except for the breakfast buffet. Our reservation included the buffet for only $13.00 for 2 adults and the kids eat free, so that was a no-brainer. We were told that the regular price was $15.00 and change per person. The food was basically okay, but the eggs were not that hot. They were also slab-like scrambled eggs probably baked in the pan, so they can get that way. The bacon and sausage were limp and plain, and not that different from a typical Holiday Inn Express complimentary breakfast. It worked for us, but is not worth the $15.00 plus we would have had to pay. It put a bit of a damper on the stay, but we just needed a room for a few hours, so overall it was a good experience at a good price. January 27, 2015

From check-in to check-out this hotel provided the experience that a frequent traveler looks for when deciding where to stay. From the complimentary water and snack on arrival, to the free breakfast for the duration of my stay. The East Windsor Holiday Inn is definitely on my go-to places to stay when in the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good, but... ...needs a little work. The staff didn't acknowledge our Platinum IHG status, and no complementary room upgrade. The room was good, comfortable bed and good furniture. The bathroom was clean and well appointed; minor issue - the faucet in the sink was loose, moved whenever you used it. The area was quiet, which was very good. The hallways and room were cold (December stay); needed to run the HVAC all night at 75 to maintain a comfortable sleeping level. Overall, a good stay and would recommend, but could have been improved. January 1, 2015
