From the moment we entered the lobby desk/check in area we noted that all the staff were smiling and helpful.
The buffet breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and a very nice waitress.

The room was clean and comfortable. The furniture was showing some wear, but it was not too bad. There was a comfortable couch. The bathroom was small, but pretty up to date looking. There were many towels, but they were pretty thin. We stayed on the top floor, which was quiet. Overall, a decent stay.

This Holiday Inn has nice facilities, and staff seemed to be trying their best to deliver good service. However, they were inefficient and made several mistakes during our stay. They took a long time to resolve some of the problems, and one problem we had with the toilet was even left unresolved. Information seemed to be disconnected, or not recorded properly. The staff needs to have more training and be more knowledgeable and efficient.

The hotel, while average, really does itself a disfavor by the horrible front desk staff. When checking in, my card was charged the nightly rate, even though I was staying on points. As a platinum member, I received no recognition. Finally, when checking out, I was promised 500 points. However, it's been one week, and when calling today, they said the points get posted every few weeks. Simply unacceptable. Finally, the voice tone of the front desk staff, both in person, and on the phone, is condescending, like they couldn't be bothered to be of any help I've stayed at many Holiday Inns, but never at this property again.
