Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A surprise charge Marketing fee .Staff Friendly/Room quite A surprise charge of Marketing fee ( although it is only a few dollars ) on the invoice. , why not include in the room fee and make it simple. The staffs are friendly and fast. Sound proof is good in room, although we stay in 2nd floor, we do not hear any sound from outside. Location is easy to found. August 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Too bad about the AC The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the food was good but with the AC not working the 200 guests at the wedding were uncomfortable for over three hours. Management was notified but unable to fix the problem. No compensation was offered. August 20, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by We are suite people - this one needs a bit of attention My husband and I prefer a suite when we travel. We have different sleep schedules and like to have separate space to accommodate that. Our Executive Suite at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre in Edmonton had some great pluses: a fabulous bathroom with jetted tub and 2-person glassed in shower; a lovely bedroom with King bed and bay window. The window treatments throughout were first class. BUT - there was a naked wardrobe with ironing board and iron with NO DOORS in the living and dining area. It completely destroyed any ambiance with the fireplace or dining area. In fact, our daughter had given us a beautiful floral arrangement for our 5-night stay and it was overshadowed by that darn iron and ironing board and wardrobe overtaking the entire room. Some bi-fold doors would be a quick solution. The desk staff were not aware of our suite package and what it included. So, I did have to ask for our bathrobes (apparently no longer included but still listed on the web site) and asked about our "included breakfast" listed on the web site but not credited. And this is where they pulled it all together. When I inquired about the bathrobes, I mentioned the web site. The robes appeared promptly. When I inquired about the included breakfast, I was told by the desk staff we didn't have that package. I suggested they check the web site and update it if that was indeed the case. Within five minutes of returning to our suite, the Guest Services Manager called to apologize and credited our two breakfast charges ($80) over our five-night stay. Turned out the desk staff didn't recognize our room number as being one of only three executive suites... that included breakfasts. So - apart from the ugly living room area wardrobe malfunction (0/10) I will happily give the staff and management 10/10 for doing their very best to make our stay enjoyable. The bedroom and bathroom are enthusiastic keepers! But, if you need to entertain in the living and dining area, as we did, it won't work. Needs some decorative therapy. And it wouldn't cost much... really. August 17, 2014
