Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old Hotel ... okay front desk service The hotel restaurants and their staff were a major plus, however there were issues with regards to platinum level recognition. When I asked for a room upgrade through platinum, I was informed that even though there were suites and executive level rooms still available, that those rooms were unavailable to me because "that is not how the program works"; The upgrade that was provided was from two queen beds to a queen with a pullout couch. This was the first time this has ever happened (I.e. Limiting the type of room upgrade) so it was a surprise. February 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location & Excellent Staff Was in Edmonton for business & i chose this location after reading lot of great review on trip advisor. its very convenient to stay here as its close to downtown & other good places to visit for. at check in i find staff very helpful, courteous, polite and very respectful. this person shoi was great with service & provided me with a lot of information about Edmonton. room was clean & tidy, tv was high def made a real difference & free wifi. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All Around Great Hotel! The staff were very accommodating with an early check in. They were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My room was exceptionally clean and well presented. The onsite restaurant had amazing food and good service. (they were VERY busy on the sunday morning but that is to be expected). Check out was a breeze. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only downside is the room I was given only had a shower- I was told what to look for when booking online so that I could get a room with a bath tub the next time. For being so close to the tracks and a main road I will say that this hotel had wonderful soundproofing I will defiantly be back soon! February 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An excellent stay from a road worn business man I and and about a dozen folks were brought into Edmonton for a Christmas rush assignment. The work hours were horrible, but the hotel stay and staff made the time Edmonton very livable. The staff were very accommodating with our needs and went out of their way with requests. In my down time from work, the front desk staff were knowledgeable about how to get around in the city. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very neat and clean. My only complaint is that the blackout curtains do not drop low enough to block out the light bleed from the windows. I would return to this hotel if I am in town again in the future.
