We booked this hotel through the web site selecting "King Suite". Upon arrival they told us they had no King Suites left & wanted to give us 2 double beds instead. I insisted I booked a King Bed & really wanted them to fulfill my original request of what I paid for. They landed up bumping another customer who hadn't checked in yet to give me their room. Not very fair to that customer now when they arrive, which makes me think maybe they did the same thing to me. The web advertise these beds as pillow top beds. We felt like we were sleeping on plywood, extremely hard - no pillow top at all. Bathroom had pieces of tile cracked & missing from the wall leaving holes into the walls - large enough to put 3 fingers into. No ventilation in the washroom neither - Overall probably wouldn't stay again because of the lack of comfortable beds.

- I was not greeted as Platinum member.
- I did not get any snack or bottle with water.
- Room was not upgraded (breakfast would be a good option instead? - just a thought -).
- The smallest bathroom ever! (I know they want more rooms but...).
- I did not see any security camera on the 3rd floor unless they were spy-size cameras?.
- I will not say anything about the carpet design.
- Worst Cable TV Menu ever.
The best thing of Hi will always be the shower and bed =)

It was a good experience of staying in this hotel.Room service was good, everything was in good condition,I recommend this hotel for good service in low cost.

All pillows need to be replaced. Thoses found are all firm pillows although there are also some labeled as soft, which are a little bit soffter but still quite hard, tall and tough. Quality of all pillows are low as well. This is a must change for such a nice hotel. Other than that, everything was very good.

The hotel it's self is outdated. I was disappointed by how outdated it was. There was no hot tub which when searching I saw one on the websight. Overall I rate the hotel room its self at a 2 out of 10.
The restraunt was closed at 10pm at night and none of the fastfood places were open. Nor did the restraunt have anything gluten free on the menu. This was an issue we found within the whole town pretty much except for ordering pizza!
The staff was EXCELLENT! Very helpful in giving directions.
Housekeeping: was AMAZING! They even folded our personal blankets! They need a raise for sure because not to many housekeeping go above and beyond.
Front desk: Sweet from the minute we walked in the door! The guy offered my daughter a free snack because she walked in with a smile on her face! That completely made her day after a LONG car ride over.
The next morning we had questions about how to get to the "L". The lady working was great at helping us and getting us to where we needed to go!
Thank you so much for being excellent!! The front desk people and housekeeping!

I recently stayed here for a night and I have to say this hotel is like a 5 star resort! The halls, lobby and room were VERY clean and looked rather new. The employees were polite and helpful!

My flight got cancelled so I stayed here for the night. The bus driver from airport to hotel was informative and very helpful. Hotel staff were very friendly and fun and helped me get some items for the evening I needed since airlines kept my luggage.

Hotel needs some upgrading - and when did they decide that we don't need hair conditioner???? I had to go out and buy conditioner and then, the next morning the housekeeping staff and not replenished the shampoo and even took out the one that was partially used in the shower!!! So, no shampoo on day 2!!

We only stayed for a very short time but the front desk personnel were very helpful at all times. I would stay again just because of them. Shuttle drivers were also very helpful and considerate. You have a first rate staff.

The most important venue I look for is the front desk staff at check in or check out. I can not say enough for the front desk staff. This alone makes the beginning of my stay very comfrotable before I even get to my room itself.
I normally always get the same room and I like the location close to a exit door since I do stay more than one or two days at a time. The room is very clean and neat and overall comfortable. The cleaning staft is very good and respectfull with regards to my personal items I leave in the room.
Last but not least since I stay almost twice a week at this hotel it is very comforting to be addressed as Hello Mr. So and So or in many cases by my first name. That shows me that I am more of a guest than just another person staying in a room. I say thanks to the entire staff for caring.

I liked that the end table between the beds was actually big enough to put stuff on it. In most hotels, it is for looks and big enough just for the clock, lamp and phone. That was really nice. Plus, I liked that the bathroom had a soap dish. So, it didn't leave a mess. The shuttle was very prompt and accommodating.

I stay at this hotel every month for a week or two at a time. I am always welcomed and feel very comfortable here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is great here and so convenient. I highly recommend staying here and the staff is great.

While the weather outside was cold, we were able to relax in the swimming pool and warm in the sauna! The pool area is expansive and a great atmosphere where you can take some time to enjoy the moment. After the pool, the sauna was a wonderful way to sit back and reflect on the warmth.
The staff and management here are friendly and approachable, and do whatever possible to make us feel at home. Michael and Jeff had our room paperwork all ready when we came in, greeted us by name, and acknowledged our membership level. During the stay, Elizabeth and Abed continued the friendly service and hospitaity at the front desk!
We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and watching sports on the TV's in the lounge. The staff and food are wonderful. Great job.

Nice hotel with a great restaurant located not far from O'Hare. About a 10 minute drive to Woodfield Mall. Lots of great dining choices nearby including hotel restaurant, Lou Malnati's, Sweet Baby Rays; plus many of the well known chains in the mall area. Hotel is nicely furnished. Room was comfortable. Appreciated the black-out curtains and free Wi-Fi.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn for 4 nights a week for 4 months and my expectations have been routinely exceeded by all staff members every week. They are very courteous and accommodating towards all guests and respond quickly to any needs.
The food is also excellent with a wide variety of food selections on the menu.
I would not hesitate to recommend this Holiday Inn for a short or extended stay!

As a traveler who spends an average of 300+ nights a year in hotels, I have plenty of experience in this area. Upon arriving at this Holiday Inn there was absolutely no staff at the desk working. After standing at waiting for 10 minutes, I finally used my cell phone to call the hotel, was answered by "Jeff" and I explained the issue. He hung up the phone and a few seconds later, "Jeff" appeared from the back to check me in. He was extremely irritated with me for having called and not waited though. This was followed by another 5 minutes of him not being able to find my reservation in the computer and claiming that I probably had not made one. Finally finding my reservation, "Jeff" handed me a key and said the room was on the fourth floor, turned around and headed back into the back room. There was no acknowledgement of my platinum rewards status, no greeting, no apology for the delays, no information telling me that I received a free beverage due to my rewards status and overall, no decent customer service. Turning to head upstairs I noticed the sign stating the manager on duty was "Jeff." Really?!?! The hotel is older but well maintained but not worth even considering staying in due to the staff. The Holiday Inn in Rosemont a couple of miles away is a much better choice!

On our last trip to the Chicago area, we enjoyed great dining and a wonderful room at the Elk Grove Village Holiday Inn. The entire staff looked after our every need and we cannot express how welcoming it is to have caring people like Michael, Jeff, Abed, Elizabeth there to help. The property is a short 15 to 20 minutes from O'Hare or the nightlife of the Rosemont district. We highly recommend this Holiday Inn when your travels take you to the Chicago area.

We were looking for a place to leave our car for a week while we vacationed. I found out that this hotel didn't charge for parking and that they would shuttle you to and from the Airport. The staff was friendly and the shuttle service was on time and very convenient.

Stayed here for my hubby's birthday and we ate at the restaurant and had drinks when we returned from Casino in DesPlaines. The staff very friendly and focused on our stay and comfort. The fire alarm went off at 3 a.m. due to a prankster but the staff acted quickly and appropriately! We will stay here again!

Everything I experenced once on the hotel property was just fine. It was nice and clean and the staff was friendly, but I was quite disappointed by the complementary shuttle service.
The main reason I picked this hotel was because it offered shuttle service to and from the airport, and I was quite disappointed in the hours offered by the service. The first shuttle leaves in the morning at 6 a.m. and the last pickup at the airport is 10:30 p.m. I arrived at O'Hare after 10:30 p.m. on a Sunday night and it was a $40 cab ride!
Thankfully I did have a mid-morning departure, and the shuttle left promptly at the top of the hour which worked out great. Just be aware that if you have an early morning flight, the shuttle likely won't work for you.

I have been staying here every month for 3 years and the front desk people have always been exceptionally nice, as of recent , Michael has gone out of his way to accommodate. Rooms have always been fresh and clean, Guy and Carol in the restaurant always make nice conversation and welcome every time.

Attached Bar/Restaraunt was nice to have.
I like the fire pit that was always burning inside the garden. Chicago in late November is chilly but fire was nice.
Bed was very comfortable!
Nice size tv in the room which featued a sleep timer.
The only down side I experienced was the price for food and snacks in the hotel and bar. But then again, it's Chicago and everything is high there! Beers were cold and the food was hot!
Very satisfied with my week long stay there! Would definatly stay again at this location! :)
