Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Guest We were at Eureka for a family member's wedding, and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. The venue for the wedding itself was very pretty, with a lot of architectural detail and charm. The room was comfortable and roomy, with a good mattress and linens. The pillows were, as usual in hotels, too bulky for my comfort. The bathroom was good, and the temperature could be adjusted. If you want quiet, don't get a room overlooking the pool. The arcade and fitness center are in the same open area as the pool, and can get a little loud. May 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent hotel, but dated and with sub-par food This is a decent option to be staying at if you're planning to visit Six Flags or events over at Purina Farms. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service is impeccable, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel is dog friendly. However, by Holiday Inn standards, the rooms (and especially the bathrooms) are quite dated, the air conditioning system is very loud and doesn't turn on or off automatically, and the restaurant food can charitably be described as bland and uninspired. Add to that the lack of a free breakfast, and this really isn't a place to visit for anything food-related. May 16, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Older but nice hotel. This hotel is a little old and somewhat outdated, but it was comfortable and the closeness to Six Flags makes it worth it. We did have issues with the a/c unit and it was a bit warm in the room, but nothing unbearable. We requested more towels and were accommodated fine. I recommend it for a short stay. May 3, 2016

"Drive up" rooms make transferring pups from car to room hassle free and the grounds have multiple well lit, mowed, grassy areas with trash cans and clean up bags so dogs may be exercised. Front desk staff are nice, professional, and efficient. Easy access to the interstate too. Only downside was the hotel restaurant which had passable food but really horrible service - take a pass on that and just pick up take out to eat in your room! April 27, 2016
