1. There were no local TV channels—missed our favorite programs.
2. After showering, the bathroom was flooded—shower curtain too short.
3. Shower floor is cracked—at Holiday Inn?
4. Where is the ice machine for 3rd floor?
6. There sure were no freebies at Holiday Inn that night.
7. Temperature was uncontrollable—it was too cold.
8. Closet doors were cheap, and they would not open or close properly—Holiday Inn? Room 316 only?
9. Priority Club was not accepted. Been a member for years, so, I destroyed my card.
10. Breakfast was not complimentary! Holiday Inn?
I will consider other options in Birmingham in the future. Please send this to corporate also. Then fix it!

clean comfortable stay enjoyed the high speed internet, noise from outside was very minimal and the hotel staff was very friendly.

This is a very bad and poorly managed location. Worst business stay in 3 years. My company has IHG as a preferred provider for stays and I will request they make addtional options available in the area based on this stay. Very dirty property. Flooring, walls, doors, even beds were dirty. Staff was average and nice, but clearly could not resolve any issues. It even appeared as if they already knew of the issues and have received multiple complaints. I called the IHG customer service number upon checking out to provide feedback. I had already paid so no issue of free stay. They were not helpful either. They promised a call in 24 hours. 4 weeks later; STILL no response. There are better options for your company and stay when traveling. Seek them out. BAD HOTEL!!!

dated but adequate furnishings.. the room was clean and comfortable. the bathroom was nice. the heater smelled bad when we turned it on...we could not get the WIFI to work - period.
the breakfast was AWFUL. they should be embarrassed. if i had any idea i would have stayed at the holiday inn express.
they offered to add some rewards points to my account for the experience.... still waiting..

The hotel was a normal Holiday Inn Express, but the night clerk was ranting and raving for hours on his cell phone about how horrible his job was, how he was the only one who worked, what pigs his co-workers were on other shifts, etc. It was disheartening to say the least. I was actually disgusted.
The breakfast was not a continental breakfast, but an actual paid meal.
Overall, normal stay with a BAD apple as an employee. I wouldn't go back to this particular Holiday Inn BECAUSE of that employee.

The front desk staff were great. But, the pool was not in working order (green), our refrigeratior in room did not work and our food spoiled, and they did not clean our room the second day.

My husband and I stayed here for a highschool reunion. The hotel was very clean, the fitness center was small, but well equipped and very clean, and the staff was very warm and friendly.

Our rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. I needed assistance from the staff and they were very helpful and friendly. Apparently, they are renovating in some areas, but I never noticed anything. I would recommend staying here again. The location is great with tons of restaurants and shopping very close by.
