He sat with me and talked with me about the changes that are coming to this hotel.and for that ill be bringing my companies business here,with service like this( which you can not buy) there is no doubt in my mind that we will be making this our home. plus the new chief in the morning for breakfast makes this stay like no other. thank you holiday inn homewood for giving me and my company a new home in the Birmingham area April 20, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor stay Upon arrival(it's 11:30pm#, the individual at the front desk did not have my information pre-ready#as it usually is), did not give any recognition of my reward member status, did not ask me about my "thank you" points option, and did not even tell me where the elevators were. I thought maybe they discontinued the "thank you" points but decided to ask. He replied with "I'll take care of it" but I still haven't seen them post yet. I got to my room and wanted to take a quick shower before going to bed. The bathroom was really dirty. As you can see in the pictures, the wallboards were falling off, the door was sprayed with some kind of liquid, and the tub was dirty and grimy. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfy. When I told the front desk about the issues the next day, they really didn't seem too concerned and basically brushed me off. I was scheduled to stay 4 nights but decided to check-out early and stay somewhere else the remaining 2 nights. I checked out the next morning and checked-in to a Candlewood Suited right down the road, When I checked-in there, they recognized my status, asked me about the my "thank you" points option, and even called me 5 minutes after I got to my room just to see if everything was good with my room. That's the type of hotel that I like to stay at!! April 11, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Night before a stressful Day I loved the location. The grounds were very neat, as well as the lobby and room. If there was one thing I would ask for it would have been more overhead lighting in the room. Over all stay was great, I would stay again. April 3, 2015
