Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Accessible Room Thanks for having all the ingredients we require for a successful stay in a hotel. Our accessible room was close to the elevator; we had a role-in shower and raised toilet; we had grab bars. And we had enough space for a wheel chair to turn around, etc. We travel often and have encountered some very awkward so-called "accessible" rooms. Thanks for a great night where we felt comfortable and safe. February 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Stay My overnight stay at your hotel was just great! I was greeted with friendly courteous professional service by the Manager and the chef had provided a hot treat. The food was just on time as I had driven for 7 hrs from Jacksonville Florida. After a relaxing evening and sleep, I was offered a buffet breakfast that was simply delicious. Homewood has been a favorite stay for me and will continue to stop here. The best in the area. February 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service. My room did not have quality HD channels as TV kept losing signal. Staff was unable to repair, yet a co worker in a room downstairs had no issues. Was not offered a new room and I did not ask as I don't feel I should have. Breakfast was your average breakfast and the fresh fruit was excellent. Staff was excellent and attentive. Overall stay was great other than TV issues. did not receive fresh towels on my second day, yet my dirty towels were taken. January 31, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express Problems Sure: 1. There were no local TV channels—missed our favorite programs. 2. After showering, the bathroom was flooded—shower curtain too short. 3. Shower floor is cracked—at Holiday Inn? 4. Where is the ice machine for 3rd floor? 6. There sure were no freebies at Holiday Inn that night. 7. Temperature was uncontrollable—it was too cold. 8. Closet doors were cheap, and they would not open or close properly—Holiday Inn? Room 316 only? 9. Priority Club was not accepted. Been a member for years, so, I destroyed my card. 10. Breakfast was not complimentary! Holiday Inn? I will consider other options in Birmingham in the future. Please send this to corporate also. Then fix it! January 24, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BAD BUSINESS TRAVEL LOCATION This is a very bad and poorly managed location. Worst business stay in 3 years. My company has IHG as a preferred provider for stays and I will request they make addtional options available in the area based on this stay. Very dirty property. Flooring, walls, doors, even beds were dirty. Staff was average and nice, but clearly could not resolve any issues. It even appeared as if they already knew of the issues and have received multiple complaints. I called the IHG customer service number upon checking out to provide feedback. I had already paid so no issue of free stay. They were not helpful either. They promised a call in 24 hours. 4 weeks later; STILL no response. There are better options for your company and stay when traveling. Seek them out. BAD HOTEL!!! January 4, 2015
