From the moment you enter they are friendly, attentive and ensure all is well. they greet return guests by name and they know your room preference. Don't be surprised if they call your room and ask if there is anything they can do or get for you. Upon check out expect to be greeted by a smiling staff member wishing you a great day and offering you coffee or tea to take with you if you wish. Anna-Marie saves me a newspaper as she knows I enjoy keeping up to date on news issues. I wish they would go back to having sufficient copies of the Globe November 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Night's sleep Arrived late at the hotel due to a storm and figured I was so tense it would take a long time to get to sleep. The bed was so comfortable that I managed to fall and stay asleep almost immediately. The room was clean, and the heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch. November 21, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by location location location! Great location, if attending any events at the K-rock centre There are also some great dining places near by! just a few steps away! We went to the Keg, and we're happy it was a short walking distance. We didn't have to worry about parking or finding parking at the hotel- or any of the places we went, we were able to walk where we needed to go! :) We had 2 double beds, I found were quite small- so we ended up sleeping separately, but was comfortable! The tub handle that adjusts the water temperature was lose, wouldn't stay on one temperature, would have it set on warm- but would fall to either COLD or HOT. wasn't a great shower, but made do. Mentioned it at checkout, and they said they would have it addressed right away. November 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a pleasure to stay! I have stayed at this particular hotel in pretty much every season. The typical off season naturally tends to be a bit less expensive than the busy summer season, especially considering its great downtown locaiton. The cost no matter what the season though is always competitive. As a military member they also offer a discounted rate and are quite supportive of the CF. The fantastic location makes paying for the parking worthwhile as you can pretty much walk anywhere from the theater or to a great local pub or restaurant. My only less positive comment would be that the hotel itself is obviously out of date when it comes to the living areas of the hotel. That being said it is still well taken care of and enjoyable to stay! November 17, 2014
