Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Staff, Hotel Needs Work
Let me start by saying that the staff here is very friendly and work very hard to make your stay very comfortable. However the hotel itself is in poor condition and is in need of repair.
Upon entering our room the AC did not work and the balcony was covered with bird droppings and cigarette ashes. The staff quickly responded to get our AC working and clean the balcony.
Other issues in the room included the bathroom door not being able to close, the tub faucet continuously dripped and the overall finished were very dated and tired, not what I've come to expect from the Holiday Inn.
After finally getting our 9 month old daughter to sleep our AC broke down again. This time the unit had to be replaced completely. This was done in a very timely manner (Maintenance guy Kevin is the man) but was a major inconvenience trying to get our daughter back to sleep and enjoying our evening.
At the end of the day we booked for a relaxing night out of town, this trip was far from relaxing, I will not be back to visit this hotel ever again, there are many more choices in the immediate area.

Had a great stay. Breakfast was included and really enjoyable. Had the same waitress each morning and she was awesome. Particularly impressed with the staff that cleaned my room. did an excellent job, so I left her a tip. Hope she got it. Super friendly staff, tip them, they deserve it!

The room was so-so clean, the A/C did nothing but blast frigid air and the balcony was absolutely filthy and disgusting. Cobwebs, dead bugs, dirt. Used towels to cover chairs. The restaurant was not all that clean particularly the chairs. Problems were reported yet nothing was done.

our stay was wonderful, the woman taking care of our room was very professional, heart warming, friendly. she made us feel as if we were home. she took care of of all our request, she provided us with information on the area.her name was chantel, which we will not forget.she made our stay wonderful

The pleasant and helpful staff made up for the lacking functionality of the room, esp the bathroom! Decor was dated, room was small. However, beds were comfortable, room was quiet and clean, staff is great.
Made sure we stayed on the harbour side of hotel, not just for the view, but there is noise from bridge traffic on the opposite side of hotel.

We had a very poor night on 11 July. Given the very high price that I paid for the room, it ws most disappointing that the room was so noisy and the bed so extremely uncomfortable. My wife shared my complaints the next morning.

I think the biggest improvement you could make would be in your restaurant especially at dinner table. Linens would go a long way in converting the dinner hours from almost cafeteria tables to more of a finer dining experience. Oh, and you should definitely eliminate linguini from your room service menu, by the time you get it the sauce is gone and your pasta is gloopy icky and no microwave to try and fix it. The food besides that was adequate but I can't say it was really good.
Also, the mattress that I had was sunken in somewhat because I couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without the hard rims of the bed/mattress digging into my legs.
All in all, it sounds like I didn't enjoy myself there. I truly did and would definitely come back anytime. Loved the balcony overlooking the harbor, could sit there for hours.
