Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not very happy I am sorry to say that we were not very happy with our stay. The first evening the tv was very statuccy. on the second evening there was a wedding with an awful loud music and very rowdy group of people out front of the hotel. when we came back to hotel our key did not work and we had to go back to the desk to have them reprogram the key. will not be coming back even though our family reunion is here every year August 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome service but not quiet Stayed for one night cause I needed to rest from long days at work, but wasn't able to, cause the rooms are pretty much anti-sound proof. I can hear the people in the next room cough, talk, loud TV, and the constant banging of a closing door. Everything else was pretty good. Clean room and bathroom. I do recommend this place but if you need a quiet place to rest, ask if they can place you where there's less activity. August 3, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smokey room , no security lock I was registered in a non smoking room, the room reeked of smoke. The front desk clerk came up right away, was shocked at how smokey the room was. I am also concerned that the smoke detectors in the room do not work, otherwise they would have gone off when the last guest was smoking in the room. He sprayed it. As he was there I showed him the security bar on the door was missing one piece, he said he would have it fixed. Did not happen. The room was filthy, stained furniture. I asked that the pillows be replaced since they reeked of smoke and I am allergic to cigarette smoke. Did not happen, I had to use my travel pillow. I returned to the room one day to find the toilet paper holder came off the wall and was laying on the sink. It was never fixed. July 20, 2013

On one of our visits we were given breakfast vouchers for the buffet in the 1750 Bistro. On our last two stays we got no vouchers and paid full price for breakfast. With the majority of hotels providing free breakfast buffets now I think it would be nice if Lansdale gave breakfast vouchers for every stay, especially for IHG Rewards Club members. July 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Quiet The place was clean, and quiet. Beds were comfortable, TV was a decent, newer model. Staff was friendly and helpful. Right off the turnpike. Didn't eat at the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. See the note on the confirmation about GPS. Mine didn't find Sumneytown Pike. If you put in the address that's stated on your confirmation, GPS will take you right there. I'd stay there again. July 8, 2013

Stayed twice within a month...2 queen beds and then the king suite. both rooms had comfortable clean beds but the king suite is worth the extra cost. has a refrigerator and microwave and the room is quite large. front office staff was friendly and professional both stays. Free coffee in the lobby 24 hrs.Only negative is if you are in the B wing it is a long walk to the elevators down a few steps. a bar and restaurant on site. breakfast buffet has many choices but was it worth $9.00 plus extra for coffee, not really but then again you do not have to drive and look for somewhere to have breakfast. overall it is a very nice,well kept property. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and room, but room was directly across from ice machine and soda bottle dispenser I would recommend this hotel, with super friendly staff, and smiles and focus on the guest. My room was lovely and for the price for all that was offered was fine. Unfortunately, it was located directly across the hall from the ice machine and the soda dispensing machine. It was very hot and there were sports teams staying at the hotel. No noise from them, but they sure filled their coolers with ice and purchased drinks. Your front desk employee offered to change my room, but I was already settled. She was new, very accommodating, and did not realize that the room location might be problematic for me or anyone. It was not a problem at night with sleeping, but during the afternoon and in the morning, this guest area was heavily used. June 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Bar staff While traveling as frequently as I do, the over all experience here is very good. Primarily due to the on site bar & restaurant. Being able to relax with a few drinks and get something good to eat makes all the difference. The customer attention provided by Steve in the bar is by far the main reason the overall experience is considered as good as it is. He is quick to see what you want to drink, in my case he just verifies it. He provides sincere opinions about what is good to eat. Lets me know when the menu has changed and what is on special. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay here often. The handicapped rooms on the second level, second floor are way too difficult for some. We could not have walked it at all. Also, the outside handicapped ramps were in terrible condition. It took a lot to get over the cracks, stones at walks and getting a wheelchair into any BUT the front door (that we couldn't get to our room from). Layout for those disabled is a disaster UNTIL you get into the room. June 1, 2013

Everyone at the hotel and restaurant inside the hotel were great. I would recommend to anyone. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly Surprised This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn in a very long time and boy was I shocked (in a good way). The hotel looked brand new and had a very nice, large lobby with a bar and restaurant. It looked like something you would find in a more high end hotel. The staff at the front desk was extremely polite. The rooms were very nice (except the sofa couch didnt seem to match the rest of the furniture but oh well). The rooms were very clean and spacious. Overall it was a very nice hotel and would definitely stay again if I was ever in this area. May 24, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Did a blind person pick the hallway carpet pattern? I stayed in the "A" wing. The room was designated for handicapped individuals but was quite nice (except for the low tables). The hallway carpet pattern was quite bizarre to say the least. There was no breakfast and no coffee available when I checked out at 7:40 am. Parking was also an issue, the front parking lot of the hotel was quite congested. They need to add more parking spots. Upon returning to our room the last night, the door had been left open by the cleaning person (most of our belongings were left in the room that day). We will not be staying in this hotel in the future! Note: We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express - Never been disappointed! April 29, 2013

We were extremely impressed when the staff went beyond the call of duty and kindly offered to refund our money when the wedding pianist wrecked his car and was unable to keep his reservation for the first night. We highly recommend this lovely motel with beautiful facilities and gracious staff. April 12, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 4th floor in B section smelled of smoke My room, 426, smelled of smoke. So much so that my cloths reeked of smoke. Everyone I spoke to on that floor also had the same issue. I believe that this floor must have been a smoking floor. March 25, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel... bad service. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn for several weeks now due to business travel. The hotel is nice and has a nice bar and restaurant. The staff of the hotel and the bar has left me quite unsatisfied. The front desk staff is less than 'greeting' when I arrive each Monday. They are very robotic in their approach. When I arrive each Monday I have 'all' of my luggage and I am instructed that I have to walk down a set of about 7 steps in order to get to my room. My hands are full and my luggage is heavy and I have to lug the luggage down these steps upon arrival and back up steps upon my departure. It does not make sense. If this is a flaw of the hotel design then they could at least have a staff member there to assist if needed. The staff of bar is also quite 'unfriendly'. I have sat at a table in the bar with several coworkers only to be completely ignored for more than 1/2 hour and this has happened on more than one occasion. We have mentioned it to the staff only to be laughed at and told 'we would get a free drink' the next time in. We don't really care about 'free' since we are traveling for business. We only want to be acknowledged and waited on and don't think that is too much to ask. The hotel is clean and quiet. The gym is pretty nice with several t.v.'s. It has the potential to be an awesome hotel but the customer service leaves somehting to be desired. March 20, 2013

This made it difficult to relax and sleep not knowing if there were going to be any more unwanted visitors. A photo of the tickl ike creature has been added for your viewing plasure. March 5, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Clean Room While the room is very comfortable and clean and very spacious it is hard to find an outlet not near the desk. i like to work in bed watching TV and it is hard to find an outlet to charge the phone or laptop. Also, the rooms are equipped with a motion detector that turns the A/C off after 2 hours. This is a great "green" item during the day but at night if you like the fan on all night while you are sleeping or just want the temperature to remain the same, it's a problem. After 2 hours asleep, the unit turns off and does not recognize you turning over in bed. Breakfast buffet is very nice with hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and freash fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and good coffee. February 6, 2013
