Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable bed and great service Very nice looking hotel. Very nice staff. Uncomfortable bed. Could not get HEAT from the heater. They change the internet password on Monday, but they don't tell you until AFTER you can't log in. Food was so-so...not bad, but not good tasting either. Overall, a very nice hotel that just needs new mattresses on the beds and a heater that works. December 1, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable bed and great service I first must say, I have never written a review of any hotel before because I have not had this unique experience AND I want it to be known that I had stayed at MANY Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses before. I even stayed at a Crowne Plaza in Arlington, VA last weekend. First, let me say that the staff have been incredibly friendly and accommodating, I am being very objective when I say that the mattress/foundation on the king size bed was very uncomfortable. The lady sharing the bed with me, who NEVER complains of anything, complained that the bed was uncomfortable and that was the straw that broke the camel's back (so to speak)...that prompted this review. I actually slept on the floor last night (in this hotel) because "I" felt the bed was so uncomfortable... And yes, I am writing this review while still a guest in the hotel!!! Secondly, the heater in the room only produced "slightly warm" heat, so the heater had to almost constantly remain "on" to keep the room warm which somehow caused the air in the room to be very dry. Location - Great. Hotel looks great (I was surprised they had REAL flowers, not fake ones) in the lobby. Food was just OK, not horrible, but not great tasting either. So in conclusion, had the bed been comfortable, I probably would not have written anything. November 24, 2014

The food was excellent, bed comfortable, and within reach of several destinations in southern Louisville. Staff was excellent and so was the room, would gladly stay at this hotel again.
