Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Robster8923 I was a little disappointed
I thought my room was a little tired decor wise and the smallest I have stayed in for a long time. I had a problem with my food the steak was over cooked and I had to send it back. Consequently I ate at a different time to my friend by the time the problem was sorted. My second steak came rare so I never had my meal after all the fuss. Issues in the car park on checking out reversing his car at fast speed near to reception exit, parking in no mans land. I love the Holiday Inn chain of hotels but on this occasion I never had a positive experience.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BigStuey It's ok but...
This hotel is close to my office and we get a reasonable rate, so I end up here rather than anywhere else when I visit (which is weekly)
It's an ok hotel, but for some reason I've never warmed to the place. Maybe it's the seventies decor that reminds me of the Crossroadds soap opera or the fact that the rooms appear to have never been renovated.
Above all though, I NEVER get a good nights sleep in this hotel for some reason. I've stayed in a ton of IHG hotels around the world and can sleep fine in most. But not this one...

The Executive Suites are excellent.
A large living room with comfortable sofa's, excellent bedroom that can be kept dark, and a large bathroom with both a double shower and a double bath with jets.
We loved it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Regular stayer Regular stay..........
Currently stay 2 to 3 nights per week, quite like it really especially when I get a room upgrade!
+tives - staff really helpful, especially the lovely lady who runs breakfast on tue & wed morning and the 'older' chap in the bar. The gym is good as are the other leisure facilities. Breakfast is great, beds comfy. After a while they will now make things not on the menu which is so so so welcome for a regular stayer.
-tives - pillows are rubbish - sorry but they are, room service food never as good as bar or restaurant, and why do they put cling film on a room service beer - makes it go flat........
All in all great people who seem to really care, secretly quite enjoying staying there........but don't tell anyone.........

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Weekend break
Have used Maidenhead in the past but not recently until this present stay. New decor since last visit, liked what we saw, very relaxing.
Really appreciated the friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant and bar area. Singing in also friendly and efficient, lovely girl here.
Liked the rooms with king size bed and auxiliaries. Good nights sleep undisturbed. Lighting a little bit dim with all lights on. Good bathroom with ample clean towels.
Unfortunate to have a fire alert whilst enjoying a bar meal.Staff well organised and apologised and gave free drinks to our party.
Although a basic member would liked to have had free internet access.
Overall stay very enjoyable, no complaints. Look forward to next stay
