Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Clerk acted like I was bothering her upon check-in!!! Ghetto at best! The most unfriendliest staff I have ever encountered. The rooms are in need of an over haul, bigtime! The business center has one computer right in the lobby near the front desk. Because my business requires me to travel to Fairhope, I elected to stay there since I stay in HI Expresses across the country. I should have stayed in Dauphne or Mobile and just made the drive into Fairhope. I will never stay there again. January 22, 2013

The "old building" was comfortable and quiet, if not a little dated and in need of up grading. The bed was comfortable as was the couch in the tv area. The staff was very attentive. The city of Fairhope has a wonderful downtown and a number of worthwhile restaurants. January 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by needs new management pancake machine broke , no workers to be found including a hotel check-in person when I arrived . ....I had to holler for someone to come to front desk to check me in ....musty odors walking down the halls ....room was pitiful poor construction ...poor maintenance issues ...dirty a/c vents ....fridge was on a board ???? not painted and carpet was cut out ot this area showing floor !!!!! walls seems to be paper thin and poorly constructed ....this is not holiday inn standards and because of this hotel being a holiday inn ,,,I will not stay at holiday inns any longer ! When I arrived seeing the parking lot completely empty I knew something wasn't right !!!! I am a platinum club member and had to ask for an upgrade ,,,,at a completely empty hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kitchen area seemed to be very clean and in order ! and lastly we all did sleep well so I will say the bed was comfortable ! Whoever owns this hotel , do yourself a favor and take your hotel off Holiday Inns list !!!! December 7, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great mattress & excellent air conditioning! TV is wierd! Your property was very accommadating during our stay. We needed assistance twice with the TV. In all of our travels we have not experienced a TV system like this one. Needs changing! When we came in after a cold walk thru town we went to the dining area to get some hot chocolate but discovered that it wasn't available. At the first sign of "cool" weather people like hot chocolate in the South. Instant packages are not expensive & could very easily be made available to your "guests" with very little cost or effort. In an "economy hotel" it's the little things that make a person come back. It needs to feel like "coming home" after a long day out & about! Very glad that your property offers FOX NEWS because it is a favorite among cable news faithfuls. An additional package of regular coffee would be nice! Thanks for a very pleasant stay and we will see you again in the future! November 23, 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A dump I requested a quiet room - I didn't get it. I was placed in a room next to an exit door and across the hall from the ice machine - which ran all night, as did the HVAC unit - even in Automatic mode. I did get a room that was located in the newer section of the hotel, but they didn't bother to place new amenities in it. The coffee service was filthy, the cups were worse; though the microwage and refrigerator seemed adequate and cleaner. The blanket bordering the foot of the bed had stains of who knows what - body fluids, smoke, etc. ? When I attempted to use the workout room, there was no thermostat control in the room, there was a small vent in the cieling, but it was woefully inadequate to cool the room, so rather than overheat in what felt like a suana, gave up on that too. The continental breakfast was warm and plentiful. Not the best food, but also not the worst. November 11, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent bed, great bahtub, and terrific service We were upgraded to a suite and allowed to stay an extra day at the standard room rate. The staff was great, immediately attending to any problems. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathtub was one of the largest I have ever seen in a chain location. The only reason I did not give this property an excellent review was because the carpet was worn and stained, although it did appear to have been vacuumed. Also, one of the lightbulbs was burned out, and I felt that the lightbulbs should all have been checked before allowing a guest to check in. Although there were a great number of breakfast choices, the cooked eggs and biscuits were not as hot as I would have liked. November 8, 2012

The 1st room we were put in was smelly and the privacy curtain was so torn there was no privacy. Then we were moved to another room. It didn't smell and the curtains were in better shape, but we should never been put in a room in such poor shape to begin with. The staff corrected this as soon as I complained. October 19, 2012
