Byron is great. He always greets me with a smile and BY NAME. He is the only person at any hotel I frequent that does that. What a great guy. He really goes out of his way to make you feel like he cares. I am used to seeing him in the evenings when checking in, but this time I saw him in the morning and he had the same great spirit. Byron makes me want to keep coming back to this hotel when I stay in Mobile.

Have spent the night in multiple hotels in Mobile. This one was the best! Good parking, great friendly staff, quiet, comfortable bed, NO problems with moisture and mildew, great price, hot coffee available by 5 am (might have been there earlier but I wasn't)!!!! It'll be my first choice in the future!!

Checked in and the clerk was so busy laughing and talking to the security officer and another employee that she was very short. I am an IHG member and usually get a complimentary bag at checkin. She obviously knew that because I asked her to verify that my membership number was on the reservation. She checked me in and kept talking to the other employees and couldn't even hear me ask her if I could get a bag. After about 30 seconds she asked "what, you want a bag"? I think that after staying in IHG hotels for the past 10 years I deserved one. Got to my room and could hear everything the kids next door where saying and doing. The next morning I wake up and there is no ironing board in the room. After calling downstairs I was told that she didn't think ironing boards came into the room and that she would have to have someone bring none up, but no one was available at the moment. What hotel has a iron and no ironing board, especially one that caters to business professionals. Upon checking out she had this attitude after I voiced my opinion about this. In short I will not stay there again and don't recommend it for those on business.
