Poor Desk Service

One night stay. Asked for e-receipt on the way out of the hotel morning of 11/16/17. They said "No problem". Called on 11/29/17 and 11/30/17. Each time, they told me "our computers are down" so they couldn't email me a receipt, couldn't scan it in, couldn't send it. Called IHG Rewards on 11/30/17 and they said there is nothing they can do as each hotel is independent and is not part of a centralized computer network, so I would need to call the hotel directly. Called the main Holiday Inn Customer Service on 12/1/17 and they told me the same thing. Called the hotel 12/1/17 and they told me "our computers are down" so they couldn't email me a receipt. Talked to the GM of the hotel on 12/1/17. He said he'd send it. Just made my LAST call to the hotel on 12/4/17. "Our computer email is down"!!!

The desk person (Heidi) was as nice as she could be, but THREE WEEKS later and the hotel STILL cannot provide a receipt!!! THREE WEEKS later and my IHG Past Stays STILL shows "hotel receipt unavailable - call hotel"!!!
THREE WEEKS later and I STILL can NOT turn in my Expense Report!!! Maybe I expected TOO MUCH for Holiday Inn Hotels to be part of the 21st CENTURY...
