Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed our stay, However... Those rooms with a balcony onto the street could do with double glazing or a product to minimize street noise. I work for an international airline and I have stayed in ALOT of hotels and theses are observations not complaints (I have a ridiculous eye for detail). the bed was not centred and covered an electrical outlet. Bathrooms are a particular bugbear of mine. There was a brown scunge in the basin around the drain which could be removed with a fingernail, the lighting is inadequate for shaving (only one hotel I have stayed at has had enough so don't feel bad). Moisture has affected the paintwork on the ceiling and there is no ventilation to remove steam or bathroom smells. Why 3 lots of towels for 2 people. The silicon around the shower tap and in places around the shower/bath was coming away/gone. You have to be a Russian contortionist to reach the toilet paper, great idea to put another roll behind the other but until 1/3 of the roll is used it is nearly impossible to use the toilet roll. On the last day we went for breakfast and were glad we hadn't been there before. The staff were friendly but not very organised our table had no cutlery so when coffee arrived there was nothing to stir it with. My breakfast, which we had to ask for twice, was so slow that my wife had finished her continental breakfast before mine had even arrived. there seemed to be a lot of staff who were not very organised, not working there own area, were approached by 3 separate waitresses who would then rush off to find out what was happening but clearly do something else first and forget about anything else. We did like the rest of the hotel and staff and would recommend to anyone going to New Orleans. March 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great location The hotel has great charm, but our room was a bit dated, way in the back with a view of a roof top vent. The bathroom was tiny,and not well laid out or well lit - I feel I paid way more for the room that I should have, However, I did not spend much time in the room and the location and service from the front desk staff made up for much of the slights in the room itself March 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Review for the French Quarter Chateau Lemoyne Disgusting, old, musty - stale air in the hallways and main lobby. Furniture dated and beat up. Carpet sticky. Bathroom rust around pipes, tile gross, facet from the shower came apart from the wall, mattress soft, pillows flat, very low lighting, color of the room drab, no pictures, just a very low end hotel some place you would find in the 9th ward instead of the French Quarter. The bellman was rude. The hotel shuttle didn't know where the hotel was or the address. Not very many places to eat or shopping close by. Poorly managed. Was this hotel from the last hurricane and didn't get upgraded? March 29, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Need upkeep The hotel is in need of an upkeep, carpets, furniture, beds almost all facilities for guests. Not good value for the money especially when the rates increase dramatically over the weekend. Does not offer breakfast, first HI that I have stayed at that doesn't offer breakfast. What a shame! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Updating inside rooms I found the shower head awkward to adjust and the detailing of the Taps, floor and shower tiles very scummy in their cleanliness. I know I have travelled a lot in my life time and the Quality in the appearance of the bathroom in particular was needing some serious upgrading especially when the sink won't drain in TWO minutes.
