The hotel is in a great location and an easy walk from Jackson Square. The rooms are small but clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. April 16, 2015

We asked to be given a higher room but were told they were full.There was no recognition of priority club membership.Breakfast was at extra cost and was well below expectation. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Stay for our Anniversary I picked this Hotel through the British Airways website but based on experiences with previous IHG stays and of course its location. I wanted something typical of the region we were visiting, and chose a balcony room. We had our own balcony overlooking Bienville, which afforded us good views of the surrounding area as we were on the fourth floor. The room was comfortable, and clean. We could hear people outside of our room and the TV from the next door room, but you cant blame the hotel for other guests. The breakfast luckily for us was included in the price, however we were not given our vouchers that we needed until I spotted that they were asking for payment on the menus, this was quickly sorted out at reception. As in most areas a basic continental breakfast is very expensive in the US, so vouchers were essential. The restaurant staff were great and very attentive and had no problem with our requests, however each morning they were unable to provide me with English Tea, I had to bring the tea from our room, so if housekeeping can replenish stocks, why cannot the restaurant. At least they served the hot water in a teapot. The hotel is one block from Bourbon Street right in the thick of it, but far enough away to be quiet, and we felt quite at ease walking around late at night near to the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by, the hotel bar had live music on when we were there and they were very good, the bar staff again very attentive and advised us on local drinks to try. We would definitely visit this hotel again. April 14, 2015
