Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A comfortable and relaxing stop over I recently stayed here on an overnight stopover whilst travelling northbound to Preston from London. The hotel was ideally located on my route, alongside the M6, although this posed no issues at all with traffic noise, which was non-existent. The hotel is comfortable, clean and I found the staff to be very warm, welcoming and efficient. I frequently make this trip northbound and have on many occasions needed a hotel for an overnight stopover, given that the British road system is so shambolic on the majority of Friday evenings. Having already taken me 6 hours to travel from London, I was in urgent need of beer, some dinner and a bed! The hotel offered me everything I needed for an overnight stop on route to the North of England. Whilst this was the briefest of overnight stays, I would happily book in to this hotel again, which I found to be much better than any other hotels I have previously used for the same purpose. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not enough staff Although food was pre ordered, starters were forgotten both nights. Drinks at the dining table took 40 minutes to come - no water provided and queried when we asked. Bar staff dis-interested. Check in and out takes too long. No tea/coffee offered at breakfast. Bathroom dingy. I do however praise "Anthony" for doing his best for us... November 20, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stoke M6 Jct 15 Review Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. The gym is very good and has a great pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The vegetarian options on the menu are few and not that good although it has improved over the past 6 weeks and I had a lovely Greek Salad last night. Breakfast has also improved and they have a varied choice, which will suit everyone. Rooms are generally clean but the majority are looking a bit shabby and dated and could do with a refurbishment. Overall it is a good place to stay and would recommend it to anyone. November 19, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Dreadful Hotel This is an out dated building with outdated rooms; I am a GOLD member and was given a dreadful room which smelt of damp with outdated furniture. I did notify reception at checkout but was not even given any complimentary points for my inconvenience. Would not recommend this hotel. November 18, 2014

In one member of staff made it quite clear that they considered customers to be stupid and an inconvenient aspect of their work. This was the opposite to our experience at the H.I in Peterborough.
