In one member of staff made it quite clear that they considered customers to be stupid and an inconvenient aspect of their work. This was the opposite to our experience at the H.I in Peterborough. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Service could have been better Hotel lovely on the outside and first impression upon entering is clean and welcoming. It's just a shame that the evening staff we had were unfortunately not at the top of their game. Passing plates above our heads rather than walking around the table is lazy, and to top it off a pint of colas was spilled over my wife and daughter requiring them to return back to the room and change. We were offered 20% off the drink bill for compensation but frankly not good enough. Also the lack luster apology wasn't that sincere. October 23, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good nights sleep and good breakfact Had a good nights sleep considering proximity of M6. Breakfast was good and plenty of freshly cooked food. Dinner was good although menu was a little limited. Steak was excellent though! All staff very courteous and helpful. October 23, 2014
