Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Reception I was warmly greeted by the staff, even though arriving after 23:00 on a Sunday evening, so we were off to a great start. Staying only because I needed a place to spend the night, and I was too lazy to drive back to Toronto. The hotel is definitely dated, but it was very clean and my room was a decent size. Best: Balcony with a view of the Skylon Tower Worst: Bed was like a slab of cement I would stay here again, because I just love rooms with balconies, or at least a window that opens and isn't restricted. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Parking Parking toll booth being closed was confusing upon arrival. When we booked our room it said we had free parking but at the toll booth with no one in it there was a sign reading $5.00 per day. There was no one around to ask. We went around block and pulled in front of hotel and then found out they gave us a pass to put in the window at check in but actually could have went ahead and parked in the lot and then checked in. Otherwise, the parking was convenient to get to. September 27, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointment The first impression of the property on entry is as my five years described it as 'spooky'. The passage felt like something out of a scary movie. The room had a less than pleasant smell. It was clear that the carpet needed changing. The staff(front desk and restaurant) lack that friendliness that people in the service must have. The wireless internet hardly worked. The towels were brown and rough and not fit to clear a prison floor. This must be the worst Holiday Inn in the world. September 24, 2015
