The staff have always been extremely welcoming and polite. Whilst the hotel is not the best looking the facilities are good, the rooms clean and comfortable, communal areas tidy and inviting. There is a small gym, which although tired and a little run down, is functional.
Food is exceptional, mostly cooked fresh. The Indian chefs have a small but excellent Indian menu with a new tandoori oven. The curries are superb and so is the service. I am a regular at this hotel and so may be slightly bias; but I believe it is worth a visit, if only for the curry alone.

This hotel is a very nice hotel .i would strongly recommend this hotel on arrival I was immediately upgraded after I asked if any was available being a platinum club rewards holder.We were then offered a complimentary snack or drink from the fridge which I have never been offered at any other hotel.breakfast was nice and plenty of selection.i never ate at the hotel other than breakfast but did visit a local pub which there are 2 of within 5 mins walk.Just one downside was the local boy racers in the car park who I think must have been preparing for a day at Santa pod.I didn't feel it necessary to complain about this as the disturbance was only for about 20 mins.All in all this hotel is well located to the town centre but far enough away for a peaceful retreat and relaxing break.

I have become a regular user of this hotel, for business purposes & use it as my prefered option. My recent booking was done through a new, corporate booking site that we now use & to my horror found that the email from this site to the hotel did not arrive. Consequently, there was no room at the Inn for me. The deputy manager, Rodwell, knows me as a regular customer & booked me in without hesitation, sorting out the problem the following morning with the booking site. This was excellent service & made me feel a valued customer. Well done Holiday Inn.

Really like staying at this Holiday Inn , the staff are always friendly and are attentive and quick to respond to any requests. Minor niggle was that the heating wasn't working properly in our room, admittedly we didn't mention anything until the morning we were leaving but as soon as we did the receptionist offered us a portable heater which was excellent service. Definitely recommend this hotel as it is well appointed, quiet and comfortable 5/5

My Reception desk welcome was very good, plenty of smiles. One thing puzzles me, as a Priority Card holder, the welcome pack differs. Why not just make it standard?
The room was at best tired, with two wall mounted heating units, one of which looked like it was originally fitted by the Romans.. Not really very good when comparing to other hotels in the area.
The Indian menu is fabulous. Great food, and very good value for a hotel. I was seriously impressed.
Overall great staff and great food, Holiday Inn just need to get the rooms to the same standard.

I have stayed in the holiday inn exprees on the M1 Junction so many times. First time i have stayed here. Chef come and asked me how the food was after my evening meal (Which was excellent by the way) as i do not usally eat at hotels but was highly reccomended by the staff. As a Plat member the upgrade was out of this world. I will make sure i stay here again next time in the area. The breakfast was also good in the morning with a full selection of fish and specailist requests at no extra cost.
I stay in Holiday Inns 2 times per week ave and this is one of the best for value for money and service.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. Excellent bed, not too soft and and not as narrow as at other Holiday Inns we have stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Stayed last week on check in here I was greeted by the Manager who was at a table with nibbles apparently from the menu, I was offered a drink and a quick chat a good welcome after the M1. For dinner I chose items from their Indian Menu, I had a great Curry. This was on a par with Good Indian Restaurants no doubt. The menu had a large variety of items and a personal message from the Chef . The hotels got an open kitchen, unusual, I could watch my food being prepared. The Chef came out into the Restaurant to talk to the other guests, don't see that in many Hotels, he said they had recently invested in a Tandoor oven and he was currently training his team. On my next visit I'll try a naan of my choice he told me about -I'll return.

We had to stay an extra night owing to being hit by the dreaded bug and I can only say how helpful all the staff were in trying to accommodate our every need.Thank you.We shall be back to hopefully enjoy a further uneventful visit.

The tap was worn out.

we booked a suite for the weekend. room was fab. biggest room we've ever stayed in. the staff are lovely.
We ate in the restaurant on the friday night, very good value from the weekend special menu. staff and service was excellent. We returned on the saturday and were put in a side room as a function was on. it was like faulty towers, the food was good although the main meal was only warm and we waited 40 minutes for a soup starter. we felt sorry for the waitress who was also covering room service.
Overall it didn't spoil a fab weekend and we will return.

We booked our stay via internet for a party of 5 adults and 2 small children.
From the moment we arrived we received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff.Our rooms were excellent,clean,warm and very comfortable.
Room service was also very good and the breakfast was fit for a king.
My only criticism would be the bar prices were a bit expensive but I am told by my son who lives in the area that they are on par with other establishments in that area.
I would certainly book again and recommend Holiday Inn to my friends

Decided spontaneously to eat in the hotel (usually so over-priced, etc) and had an excellent meal 2 courses for <£10 each, all very good indeed for the price, and lovely service too. Bedroom was comfy and warm. A fan / boiler nearby did make an annoyingly loud noise through the night, but we did sleep. Didn't have breakfast so no comment there. But good quality accommodation for such a good price.

Spent a weekend here when visiting family.
Very happy with room. Nice and warm on a cold night, love the heated floor in the bathroom! Good room service.
Car park is a bit of a walk away but if that is the only thing to moan about then can't be bad!.
Would recommend.

Hotel booked for one night only, however was most comfortable night spent in hotel for a while. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed and a bargain price as booked on line.
Ideally situated for Northampton International Raceway which is where we were going the next day. Brill, would consider again if travelling to Northampton again. Thank you.

I have stayed in this hotel before and been quite impressed. That was a Thursday night I had steak and chips which was well done. Sunday is very quiet and they have a special very cheap menu. Choosing from it was a mistake. The pate was of the cheapest kind and the vegetable curry truly had nothing to recommend it. The service is friendly and good enough but not professional. The thing that really bugs me about this place is no free wi-fi.
I suppose I have to forgive the fire-alarm drill at 10.30 at night - apparently they have to do it in the evening some times and best on a Sunday when few people are there.
At breakfast they had run out of any alternative to butter.

Would definitely recommend this Hotel to friends and family. Location good , very clean and friendly staff . On the downside there is nothing available for children to do , it's a pity a small play area is not available . On the whole it was a pleasant stay warm and comfortable .

We booked a few days ahead and got an executive room at a very competitive price. We were very pleased with the room but the service at reception, both on arrival and at checkout, was very poor. On both occasions we were first ignored and then treated in an offhand manner - not a good advertisement for Holiday Inn as it suggested a lack of adequate staff training.

I organised a school reunion which was held in the courtyard Suite. The room was perfect for the event and many guests commented that they thought it ideal. The staff were attentive and friendly, in particular, Jewel, who looked after all aspects of the evening and helped towards its success.

Just stayed, easy to find just out side of city center, free parking , rooms are large and comfy, small but useful gym. Check in was a breeze (special thanks to Becky ) .. Check out the same {thanks Farid). Special Indian menu is a treat

Good room for room only, it could of been larger and a bit cleaner (cobwebs on lamp) but overall the price was excellent.
Did not have a breakfast as we felt it could of been cheaper. Overall because of the price and the Holiday Inn standard it was a good feedback
