Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Downtown Holiday Inn - Shreveport Don't stay here unless you have no other options! Terrible hotel in terms of amenities, rooms and smell. Staff was great, friendly, welcoming, etc. but that can only take you so far! February 11, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, poor soundproofing Staff is very nice and the hotel has been updated nicely. A few things can't be changed - small bathrooms for example. Good location for downtown events, and the shuttle service is an added benefit. However, with a four lane road with two off ramps from an Interstate literally steps from the hotel on one side, and a train that blows its whistle through the night, the hotel is in desperate need of some soundproofing. Had a horrible night's sleep and won't plan on staying again. If only I could tolerate ear plugs, I'd reconsider because the staff truly shined. February 10, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I was excited to stay at a hotel in downtown Shreveport but was vey disappointed. The stay was nice but not very helpful when it came to suggestions of restaurants, etc. our room was very small, much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. We had a refrigerator, which did not work. We did not have a remote, and the train passes often. Sleep was not easy. We let the front desk know about the refrigerator and remote, and they said they would send maintenance to our room. We checked out 2 days later and no one ever came. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will never stay there again. Also, they do not offer complimentary continental breakfast! Who doesn't offer that in these times!! February 4, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Next to railroad track I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was horrible! This hotel sits right alongside a railroad track and trains come at least once an hour. That means I was awake every hour that night. I don't understand why they don't have windows with noise cancellation or something similar. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone just because of the location. February 3, 2016
