The pool was nice. Not enough chairs but otherwise a nice outdoor pool. Our room was nice and we were on the end of the building so it was quiet. my only complaint was the restaurant's posted hours were 6 am to 10 PM but we went in to get a drink while our room was being cleaned and we were told they were closed until 5 pm.

I travel to the Virginia Beach Hampton Roads area for business many times a year. The Holiday Inn on Greenwich is my go to hotel no matter the time of year.

I/we, really enjoyed our stay with your hotel. The staff, and I mean the complete staff was courteous and willing to offer their services.
The two young lady's at the front desk, Yolanda & Sharnita were very helpful in providing directions in and around the area.
I will highly recommend to family and friends this place.
Also, I would like to recognize the cleaning staff: Arlene, Ana & Lola. Thanks for your service.
Arlene, I never made it to the "Soul food spot", thanks for the directions anyway. Next time!

I was totally dissapointed by the appearance of the hotel as it is in dire need of a serious renovation (tearing down the structure and rebuilding would better serve the community). The staff is great! Despite poor management, they were polite and genuine in accommodating. But the banquet facility is terrible: stained carpets, foul smelling odor from the carpet, old chairs, etc.

This was an okay place to stay. I wouldn't recommend based on the following.
*dirty room service dishes in the halls by the elevators for over 12 hours.
*our t.v. volume was broken and we had to request to be fixed. was corrected the following day, but we couldn't even relax and watch the first night we were there.
*when we booked, we based it on the fact that there was an indoor pool and spa, as well as an outdoor pool. Turns out there is ONLY an outdoor pool. Also there is a t.v. screen in lobby that shows a map of the hotel and it too reflects that there is an indoor pool and spa, as well as outdoors! Website is now changed to reflect correct information. A little too late now!

This was my second stay at this property. This stay was consistent with my first one with one exception. My first stay I was put on the 6th floor and not overlooking the pool. This time I was put on the 4th floor and overlooked the pool. The noise from the pool was a little loud. The pool closes at 11pm fortunately, but a couple nights there were still people out making noise in the pool up to about 11:30pm. It wasn't annoying enough for me to request a different room but if you are sensitive to noise and like to turn in early then you may not want to overlook the pool. I'm a night owl so even though I was there on business and had early mornings, I was still up long after the pool did eventually empty. One other minor annoyance was the soda machine on my floor dispensed regular coke when I selected diet. The front desk was ill-equipped to handle my request for resolving the mistake and sent me to the bar to ask if they had anything to swap. The bar was busy and after waiting a few minutes, I decided my $2 coke was not worth spending any more time on. I tried the 3rd floor but the machine was out so the 5th floor was able to give me a diet coke. Very minor and not worth basing a decision on staying here, but it does indicate that the staff could use a bit more training on resolving even minor issues for guests to enhance their stay.
