Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Coffee too expensive.. 3.68 cents for a cup of coffee is NUTS.. don't think we will stay here again. Too many other hotels in this area to try! No reason for escalating rates either.. one rate should be good for your entire stay! February 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Out of Order Elevator I was very pleased with everything this past weekend except for a couple of issues: Several of the bathroom stalls, in different areas of the hotel, were out of order the entire weekend. Elevator at the rear of the hotel was out of order for Friday afternoon through the weekend. Very tough being at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor and having to walk through the entire floor to get to the main elevator to go downstairs. Friends went to the restaurant Sat. night and said that service was slow, steak was overcooked, and prices too high. Also, would like to have had access to the health spa. February 10, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness issues Found hairs at head of bed and near foot of bed in 3 rooms before asking for sheets to be sent up. I was tired and did not feel like checking any further for a clean room. Also returned card for 500 points to be given as a Rewards Club member. Have not received that yet either. December 17, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Most of my stay was very good I've stayed at this location several times and I've always had a good experience. This week I had a 3 day stay, from Tuesday through Thursday, checking out Friday morning. Last night as I was returning after a 12 hour day, I got to the hotel only to find that the parking lot was barricaded due to a Christmas party which was being held there and wouldn't be over till 1:30am. I told the gent directing traffic that I was a guest there but was told I had to park at another parking lot and that there was a shuttle bus available to bring me back to the hotel. I cruised around and found a parking space about 250 yards from the hotel and walked back to the hotel..only to find once I got to my room I had left my cellphone in my vehicle. I waited about two hours until I saw two parking spaces open up on the hotel premises and ran to my vehicle and was able to convince the gent directing traffic that there were two spaces and he let me in the parking lot. Worst case, some advance warning that the parking lot would be full would have been in order. After a long day, the last thing I wanted to do was go fishing for a parking spot off the property with no real guarantee that my car would not be towed where it sat. One other issue, which the hotel had no responsibility over, was the group that was there. I've never had so many "F Bombs" dropped around me by both men and women both in the lobby and riding the elevators. I understand Christmas parties, I'm not a young guy or have virgin ears, but I was embarrassed by the coarseness of the group from ECPI University, which was the school next door and from where I was asked to park. I will make sure that when I come back to the hotel it will not be during December. On the positive side, being a Platinum Rewards member, I was treated with courtesy and given vouchers for breakfast and dinner as I am also a military vendor. The staff does a very good job and I will return but not during the holidays. December 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Nice Surprise We decided to revisit this Holiday Inn after a not so positive stay several years ago. Our local family had been hearing good things. We were glad we did. The staff, redecorated rooms, and general ambiance were all way above par. Our only disappointment was that the dining room was not open for breakfast on a Monday morning; however, we will return.
