Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Chuckie365 Broken AC, Smokey smell from AC vent, Poor internet
Overall i was very disastisfied with my stay at this hotel. My AC unit did not cool the room below 75 deg F no matter what it was set to. The air coming out of the AC vent smelled of smoke and the internet quality was hovering between fair and poor the whole time I was there.

Not bad for the Price. Next to local Bowling alley Bar. rough characters pouring out of this place.
Security guard on site for protection? Never good indicator.
Location was close to my work and the price was right.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The Safety Guy Fine exterior, poor interior
Place looks good from the outside but immediately beyond the lobby the carpets in the main hallways are ancient-- and look it! Overall smell shouts "We're old and need replacement!" Good thing the bed and pillows were comfortable. The wireless internet was unreliable, at least out to my room which was at the extreme end of the building.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jasonincognito Friendly and clean, but cramped, dated rooms, poor location
Eh. The staff at this hotel are clearly trying hard - they are extremely friendly, the rooms are (for the most part) spotless and clean, problems that arise are swiftly and efficiently addressed. But the hotel is showing serious age: rooms are filled with dated furniture, outlets are essentially non-existent, and bathrooms are tiny (good luck closing the door if you're seated on the john). The "internet' service is so slow and unreliable that it may as well not exist--but that's not much different than most other hotels of this class. The hotel is also in a questionable neighborhood, and directly across from a bowling alley where smokers (and others) loitered outside smoking and joking until the wee hours. As much as love Holiday Inn Express, I would probably not stay at this particular one again.
