Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant was disappointing I was disappointed with the prices in the restaurant. The food was average choice but a lot higher than average prices. I have had this kind of experience before so not really a criticism more an observation. November 19, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Room, shame about the restaurant The young staff were polite, but did not always seem to know what was going on. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The food took a long time to appear, although few people were dining, and was overpriced for something that probably came out of a packet. It also had to be eaten in the company of rowdy bar clientele. Breakfast was ok, though a little more choice of hot food would have been nice. Overall a reasonable place to stay but not to eat. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good night's sleep and a decent breakfast Comfortable, quiet, cosy and well appointed room. Bathroom / shower room very functional and well lit. Copious hot water. Adequate complimentary supplies in the bathroom Good stock of clean towels. TV easy to operate. A sound night' s sleep, splendid pillows and good duvet. We couldn't believe how quiet it was given the closeness of the airport and the adjacent dual carriage way . Overall we thought it was a bit over-priced but we guess that is because of the location. Would we stay again....yes I think we would. November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NEC Excellent comfortable hotel and handy for the NEC, a little expensive but captive audience so to be expected these days,. Excellent staff who made the soulless bar and dining area feel more welcoming. November 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average airport hotel Average airport hotel based on a busy road. Hotel is a little tired in places. Menu was dinner was very limited November 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Rooms!!! At first glance, this looks like any other Holiday Inn. Entering the foyer, the staff are welcoming, however when giving me my key card, no mention was made as to where my room actually was. Now this is quite a large hotel, split over 3 floor and many more corridors. I would at least expect the person on the desk to direct me to which floor my room was on, let alone anything else. When I asked where my room was, the attendant seemed to look suprised that I didn't know!!! After eventually finding my room, I enter, turn on the lights and find my bed unmade, a dirty coffee cup on the side, and empty fod wrappers on the bedside table. Well!!! Just as I am about to leave to complain to reception, the room phone rings - reception had mischarged my credit card and were calling to tell me they had refunded the difference - how kind of them!!! I tell them my room has not been serviced and the staff are very apologetic. She takes me to another room (well, the elevator, with no further instructions on where my new room is). Overnight stay was ok, although the bathroom could do with some serious updating. Breakfast was awful. Luke warm beans, rather questionable sausages, and what appeared to be powdered scrambled egg. Stale bread for toast, stale mini muffins and a poor choice of cereal. You're better off saving your money and spending it in the delightful cafe just around the corner in the business park.
