Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bradford City Centre This location while not right in the centre of town is close enough and has a cinema, bowling alley and 4 restaurants in the same complex so is very convenient for the business traveller. The bar is rather limited in choice but the staff make up for it by being very friendly and welcoming while remaining very efficient. March 13, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by was really cold The holiday inn bradford was overall a very nice clean hotel. but in the room the window would not close properly, therefore we was really cold. we complained and there was only twin rooms which was not anygood to us. I complained in the morning but did not get a refund or discount wish was not fare. I was cold all night and got a headache. This is the second time this has happened in the same hotel. Apart from the poor heating and damaged window everything else was good. The room was clean and comfy. I had made a complaint to customer services who are now dealing with it, lets see what happens. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms below average The rooms are very poorly lit. There is inadequate light in the rooms and it leaves you struggling to do any paperwork. The breakfast is the only place in HI where you have to ask for items as they are not replaced. We had to wait for beans and was told that they are being "cooked" . On another occasion there were no bread we had to ask and a few slices were brought out. This is a serious issue which needs to be dealt with. The staff are friendly it depends who you get. There is a charge for the car park (be warned) and there is a good walk from the car park to the hotel if you got number of luggage.. The bedrooms to the front of the hotel are the best. The decor is outdated. The location is very central and there is free wi fi which is the saving grace February 18, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Average Stayed here last year over a period of time and found very little improvement. The bedrooms are basic, old and dated. For example tv is the old type whereas in other Holiday Inns they have flat screens. The carpets have stains and some bedding have cigarette burns. The lighting in the room is very poor. You can have several little lights scattered in the room switched on and still find you are straining your eyes. It could do with a large central light in the room. There is a charge in the car park but you can have a discount of one pound if you get the hotel to validate your ticket. In all it can cost less then £4.00 depending how long you stay. The best rooms are at the front but can be noisy due to traffic. The best thing is the free internet and the location. Staff can be very helpful at times. January 31, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Never again Stains on sofa cushions and tears in sofa covers. Food waste on tray in corridor at the time I checked in, still there when I went to breakfast in the morning. Mould in the grout in the shower. Cracks in the basin. Poor signage to hotel car park that unlike other HIEs I have stayed at is not included in the price. January 21, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room but poor facilities I stayed 2 nights at the Bradford City Centre hotel : 1-3 December. The rooms were comfortable but the hotel services and amenities were very disappointing. One of the lifts to the hotel reception was broken and had been so for several months I was told. The vending machine in the reception area was out of order during my stay. Most worryingly I reported that wiring and a switch device in the coridoor I was staying which looked like it was part of the alarm systems was hanging out of the wall. It was a week-end but I was quite alarmed that it had not been attended to when I left on Monday morning and when I enquired of the staff I was told that there was no manager in attendance so I'm concerned that a potential health and safety issue may not have been reported. Breakfast was disappointing - a lot of items had run out and had not been replenished. The scrambled egg selection seemed to be made from powder and to be honest was not that appetising. I accept that the hotel prices are in the budget range but the breakfast could have been a lot better presented. January 12, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What - No Breakfast! I'm a seasoned guest at Holiday Inns and Expresses and have never stayed at any hotel in the chain where there is no breakfast - Until now. Breakfast seems to have run out way before the 09:30 cut off time. Guests were queuing in expectation of some replenishment taking place, but it never happened. Literally everything had gone, not even a yoghurt, juice ran out and the milk in the machine was off (according to one guest with a baby). I think there might have been some brown bread and jam. Not a good day for IHG! January 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Another gem Inside the inner Ring Road (just) a 5 minute amble even for me from both Rail Stations in Bradford. New, clean, nice layout - the sun was streaming in through the panoramic windows for breakfast. Breakfast - Saturday seemed to confuse them as there were a fair few of us down for the start of breakfast and the seemed to be topping up not quite as fast as it was being taken - but that is a hard balance - I'd complain if the food had been there for hours. Sunday was a bit better, but I left it until nine-ish. Nice to have cereals in dispensers rather than packets, but that's a personal thing. Free Wi-Fi - MAKE sure you ask for the codes on arrival - they do NOT offer them and when you get to your room there are SPECIAL offers on the internet usage. The lift needs a good talking to. It has no idea what floor it is stopping on, so don't be surprised to be told you are on floor three - when it is four. Car Parking - use the multi storey as suggested - the price HAS gone up a bit - but for good parking, 24 hours comes out at something like £4.00 - make sure you get your ticket validated at the reception desk. I have already specified the same issue in my earlier questionnaire but I must say I have to mention it once again this time too! How come it has to take so long to fix? It has been faulty for quite a few months now. Please, whoever is responsible, do something to solve this continuous ailing problem! Many thanks. November 21, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend Excellent value when you book early enough & get a good price. My partner likes the fact there are smoking rooms which isn't an option in most hotels these days. Breakfast options are more than adequate. The double glazing isn't totally noise free & the beds need larger sheets & duvets. Great location for country walks, real ales & curry. November 11, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff The staff are excellent , friendly and helpful. however the cleaners are very substandard. we tried out 3 rooms, with the duty manager, before finding a satisfactory one . first room stank strongly of urine, toilet was FULL! and room still had someone's belongings in it. second room had no lighting, bulbs had all gone . Third room was satisfactory. also would be nice to have bacon on the breakfast menu. also find it odd that the sheets are half way down the pillow, as if they are too small , but when you look, there's an extra 2 feet of material under the foot of the mattress ???
