My daughter and I were in town for personal reasons which were very stressful to us. Happily, upon arriving in the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us our keys and told us how to get to our room. We found the view about on par for the price we paid, but in truth, that was expected for the price.
The beds were very comfortable, the room clean and tidy, the bathroom a delight to use as it had a nice shower, and the tv maintained a crystal clear service despite remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo. Because the hotel is in a precinct visited by locals, there is a walkway between the hotel and the bowling alley which security are always patrolling. It does get a bit noisy, admittedly.
The breakfast was bog standard value baked beans, scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of toast, butter and jam, yogurt, cereals, juices, fresh fruits, and croissants. Teas were all Twinings, but there was only Everyday tea and herb/fruit infusions. The only other gripe was the terrible coffee - REALLY terrible :s But again, for the price, you really can't complain. Next time, I'll bring some Starbucks sachets or something.
The hotel is very amicably situated, with a cinemaplex and 3 restaurants on site, plus a bowling alley with a bar. Bradford Interchange is literally 2 minutes walk across the street, and the town center about 5 minutes. Easy to get about via buses, although we didn't have the time for sight seeing or anything. Getting to anywhere else you need to go would also be easy due to the train station being right there.
All in all, Bradford Holiday Inn Express was a pleasant experience, with lovely friendly staff :) I'd stay again if I planned on being in Bradford, and would recommend it to others.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JanKen poor access
one of the most difficult hotels to access.
whilst the hotel sign when you enter the city is easy to spot, getting there is another matter.
access is via a multi storey car park, you end up having to phone the hotel for diections - plus they dont tell you that there is no signage in the car park on how to get to the hotel.
not a lot of thought given to a traveller new to the city and arriving at night
