Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Newest in Calgary This hotel is owned and managed by the same folks that run the downtown HIE, this one is located in a cluster of other similar hotels, and is nearly identical to all those. The parking here is the only drawback, for some reason guests like to park haphazardly in the front drive and entrance way, instead of pulling into the quite large underground parkade. It could just be because you need a room key to get into the parkade, This really needs to be addressed as it's nightmarish to maneuver around the driveway. Parking issues aside - this property is spectacular, the suites are outstanding, and the management has seen fit to include Jacuzzi tubs like their other property is well known for. As a brand new Hotel is still has that "new hotel smell" and as can be expected, everything is mechanically perfect. I heard rumors that the WiFi service was poor, but my experience was great, there were no problems getting connected ( even from a distant corner room) the signal was strong, and the speed very fast. I'll be staying here again. August 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good price, but Hotel needs improvement Upon check-in I had issues with parking, found my bathroom to be dirty for 2 days. The WiFi connectivity is horrendous. I was travelling for business and this was the one thing I absolutely could not live without -- I ended up having to go to coffee shops to do the bulk of my after-hours work! August 26, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Again My credit card was charged before I stepped foot on the property. When I did arrive, I was charged for both nights as well as $50 in incidentals. There is no room service, but apparently the incidentals are telephone calls or damage. Isn't that why a credit card is provided in the first place? I was told it would be refunded to my card within 1-5 business days. In the meantime of course that is an amount I would not have access to should the need arise. When I expressed my displeasure over the pre-charging policy, I requested the manager email me. My daughter was being admitted for surgery the next day and despite the fact that I requested communication to take place via email, the manager ignored my request and called. The pool is very small, and the waterslide is not appropriate for young children. August 25, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by welcome to camp Elevators very inexpensive model for a new hotel. They are extremely slow. The free breakfast is like a school cafeteria in the morning and smells even worse. The coffee, if it isn't empty is best described as water with coffee like flavoring. The pool has a slide so it is very noisy with screaming children. If you are an adult, avoid this hotel and the breakfast area. August 24, 2014
