This hotel surprised me. Its nice and new. A top Holiday Inn Express, in my experience.

The only nice things were the layout of the pool (family friendly), and a variety at breakfast.
Downsides: Being checked into someone else's (occupied!) room, and without apology by the secretive front reception; lousy soundproofing to the hallway (doesn't help if across from the ice machine); and lack of new towels poolside and in the suite.

cleaning staff could use a few more minutes in the cleaning of rooms and double check that everything is up to standards maybe have a check list of supplies for each room

This is a great business hotel. The only downside is the included breakfast which is really quite basic. The hot food in particular is somewhat "plastic". However there is an adequate variety of cold foods.

When in Calgary we stay at this holiday Inn because it is convenient to our relatives which we are there to visit. It tends to be a bit more expensive than the other Inns we have stayed at especially on this trip where we moved across the province visiting. It was not that different from Canmore.

The hotel is need of renovations in the bathroom of the room I stayed in the sink is cracked and there is heavy water corrosion on all facets ... this is some think I have noted each of the times I have stayed at this hotel this year

All was very good our only challenge was to actually get to the Hotel, found it confusing on the first approach, but fine once we learned the way.
