Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel but still not up to speed on IHG Rewards Club changes Another stay at this excellent hotel before a morning flight back home, only spoilt by a minor fault with the shower and me still being listed as a "Basic" IHG Rewards Club member (I was told last time I stayed here that it would be sorted) and the member of staff checking me in then never having heard of "Spire Elite" once I showed him my card and unsure what to do about welcome points. Asked for a quiet room and got just that at the very end of the corridor - thank you - and was happy with the evening food and breakfast. The other staff members I met were all very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. August 23, 2015

She was welcoming, efficient and an absolute pleasure to encounter. If only other members of staff might have taken a leaf out of her well honed playbook then my visit would have been perfect. Note that from my experience if would like a warm croissant, a slice of lemon in your drink or a non caffeinated drink at 11.00 at night then go somewhere else!! Having said that my experience was good overall, my room was quiet and in excellent order, there were some members of staff that had the highest of standards and the bed was fabulously comfortable. By and large I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as the issues that I have mentioned can be solved in the veritable bink of an eye. I would also like to make special mention of Richard the general manager with whom I discussed these issues and I have absolute confidence that they will be sorted out "toute suite!!" August 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by adequate lack of staff in hotel, ridicilous at peak holiday periods. It was prob the shuttle drivers day off and the hotel had no one to cover THE STAFF I ENCOUNTERED ALL SEEMED TO BE TIRED AND OVERWORKED THE SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER WAS BEING USED TO PREPARE BREAKFAST AS WELL !!!!!!!
