Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was okay, staff needs some coaching I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn hotels (Platinum Elite) so the comparison to other locations is always there. The hotel itself is fine, but the front desk staff could use some training in customer service. No smile at check-in, no recognition of Platinum Elite, no welcome amenity points...being in sales, I'm always amazed when a customer's first impression of a hotel is left up to uninspired front desk staff. Other than the front desk help, the hotel stay was good. March 1, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Older hotel pool light broken OK Stay,, have stayed in much better places with HIH. Remote in room was broken, lights in pool did not work, no towels in the pool area. The room was clean, but a bit run down, the staff was friendly. Just needs a little TLC as it is a great location. Was a little disappointed as this was a family trip, and used my points for a lower than average experience than I normally have come to expect with Holiday Inn Express. February 14, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No Recognition as a Platinum Member I did not check in until late, around 10:30 pm, there was no one at the counter, after a few short minutes, the clerk arrived, no apologies, not even a good evening greeting, just asked me if I had a reservation, no recognition as a platinum member or offer to a room upgrade or points option. I grown accustomed to a much better level of service at HIE properties and that is why I choose them as my preference hotel, this check in process was not up to that standard. It would also be nice at check out to have the receipt under the door rather that wait in line at the front desk, most HIE locations do this, however for some reason at this location you have to take the time to check out at the front desk. On a positive note, the staff at check out were very nice. February 9, 2015
