Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Allerdings fand ich das Bier an der Bar unverhältnismäßig teuer und beim Frühstücksbuffet habe ich Käse, Wurstaufschnitt und Streichwurst vermisst.
Sonst war alles ok.

two stays at this hotel and both one nighters. The staff could not do enough for us and nothing seemed to be to much trouble.
from the time we arrived to booking an early breakfast they made sure you wanted for nothing.
after a 12 hour drive to get here the rooms were great, cleaned to highest standard and very peaceful through out the night.
the food was plentiful and cooked well, nice and hot and well presented, in fact just looking at it filled me up. thank you to all the staff and hope to visit again soon.
The hotel was very full and they coped well with the situation.

My wife rang me 3 times on 3 seperate nights in the hotel. On two of the times the hotel answered the phone with an answering machine ( so course she was paying for call) then the operator refused to answer the phone. After a few minutes my wife was cut off. I expect the phone to be answered in a timely manner from a Holiday Inn

A well run hotel with trained and efficient staff, would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.

Found the experience poor. We ate the evening we arrived. The food was at very best mediocre. Cannelloni was microwaved badly. Crisp on top and flat as pancakes. A number of the salad leaves were not fresh- basically rotten. They at least should not have been included. The fish coating was hard and the pie was poor. At least if we had been able to microwave our own it would have been in a better condition. By the way you need to ensure customer ordering a gin and tonic are aware that slimline tonic is automatically provided even when not requested. Spoilt the drink. Breakfast sufficed but there is a lack of space to accommodate the number of people requiring breakfast. In addition a choice of yogurt would have been good - fudge is not to everyone's taste. The worst part of the visit came next. While waiting for the lift to come the receptionist shouted to us 'you'll have to use the stairs as the lift is being used to bring down your luggage' . Wrong we were not part of the coach party and no apology. This meant my 84 year old father had to climb stairs to the 2nd floor and his ability to walk is impaired. Filling the lift with luggage took at least 20 minutes so he had to come down the stairs again #we waited some time but had to leave and we were also late in arriving at our destination due to extra time taken#. Surely, at the very least some sort of indication that the lift would be out of commission for this time should be in place so that guest could work around it if necessary. I am still deeply annoyed at this and this has probably been exacerbated by the extremely insincere single word apology when I complained at the desk. A dismissive 'Sorry' really is not adequate. I suppose I had considered that the lift was for guest use. Then when checking out despite handing in both key cards I was asked if everyone had checked out - to be told it was in case someone needed into the room. I am perfectly capable of understanding that I should not hand in the card if someone needs back in. Poor
