Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy, poor bed and tatty room Arrived to find the bedroom was not as booked, I had two single beds not a double as booked. The restaurant was at best a bar menu. The noise levels travelling through the walls from other guests and the hotel staff throwing bottles in the recycling at 2am (yes 2am!) was completely unacceptable. The rooms are tatty and dated, would have been basic when at their best. The free wifi is so slow, it reminded me of dial-up internet. To put some balance into this review, the staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful with a slick check in and check out process. June 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another nice stay This place is perfect when visiting local customer. Friendly staff and a good breakfast choice. My only criticism would be the carpets are looking a little tired and need replacing oh and the towels could be thicker. Apart from that a very pleasant stay.I will be back soon. June 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor food I have been staying in Holiday Inns since 1974. This Holiday Inn Express was fine for a business visit. Rooms were what I expected but the quality of the food was very poor. The training of the chef obviously centres around microwaves and deep fat fryers. Breakfast was better than evening meal but quality of sausages was POOR. June 17, 2015
