Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient cusiness location for Messe The hotel was as expected from Holiday Inn`s where I have stayed many times throughout UK and the continent. However, on this occassion we were visiting the Messe Exhibition centre for 2 days, and was annoyed that you did not provide a complimentary bus service to and from the exhibition centre. There were many like minded patrons in your hotel all with the same complaint. We know you increase your prices during these exhibitions, whereas your overheads remain the same, so why not invest in a little more customer conveniences for the very reason for using your hotel. Your response will always be that you do not have to provide additional services during these exhibitions as your bookings exceed normal trading weeks.- so why not give a little extra service to your customers. It will pay off in the long run. February 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Licht und Schatten Aufenthalt soweit ok, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, es lief alles sehr unkompliziert. Leider kam aus dem Bad ein unangenehmer Geruch und der Frühstücksraum hat den Charme einer lauten Bahnhofshalle. Eierbecher und Löffel aus Plastik (Einweg) ... die USA lassen grüßen. Außerdem sind 20 Euro / 2 Tage für Internet auf dem Zimmer nicht mehr zeitgemäß. February 5, 2014

I did take advantage of the free internet in the lobby . I would return to this property. Nice to airport and downtown . January 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unorganisiert und unfreundlich Da das Hotel keine Laufkundschaft fürs Frühstück, welches ja angeblich "gratis" ist, haben kann, sollte man in der Lage sein, die Buchungszahlen sich anzuschauen und entsprechend auf den "Ansturm" personell und materiell eingerichtet zu sein. Aufgrund des Chaos beim Frühstück bot ich an, auch später wiederzukommen, worauf mir "wortwörtlich" mitgeteilt wurde, "egal wann ich komme, es sei unpassend". Ich habe dann auf das "kostenlose" Frühstück, was auf der Rechnung kostenlos mit 3,50 aufgeführt wird ausfallen lassen. Gäste sind ja unpassend!!! Mir das "kostenlose" Frühstück für 3,50 separat auszuweisen war nicht möglich, eine vernünftige und plausible Erklärung ebenfalls nicht. Auch aus der Buchungsbestätigung geht diesbezüglich keinerlei Information hervor, dass man kostenloses Frühstück für 3,50 nicht separat ausweisen könnte. Nie wieder Holiday Inn Express in Düsseldorf!!! December 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk staff issues Very unfriendly staff at front desk. We arrived a couple of hours before the minimum check-in time of 3PM. The female front desk clerk was very unfriendly and rude. Also didn't suggest to put the luggage in storage for the time being. We've stayed in this hotel several times and never had any issues with the staff. In general good basic hotel with free parking. December 16, 2013
