Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional Front Desk staff We were one of many news crews staying in Flint during coverage of the water crisis there. The manager was incredibly kind, helpful and seeing that we probably looked extremely worn out from our travels, she allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us. Nora, who works the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. She always had water bottles available when we asked, was extremely helpful in answering any and all questions we had and once, when someone found an extension chord left behind in the elevator, she was kind enough to track us down to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. Our entire team was extremely grateful for the professionalism and help we received by the front desk team during our short stay in Flint. January 23, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Staff My family and I stayed over the holidays and I was rather surprised and impressed with the hotel mainly because of the area of location. The staff was super friendly and was able to accommodate for our needs. My only issue with the rooms was that the noise both inside and outside of the rooms are not quiet. We could hear everything outside our room and you could easily hear the shower or tv in the hallway. Also, the bathroom had a walk-in shower which was nice but the water would cover the entire floor in the bathroom. Overall, the stay was nice and the staff was amazing. The beds and sheets were always clean. -Thank you to the staff at the Holiday Inn Express Flint-Campus Area for being so wonderful over the holidays, it truly made our stay better. January 8, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wierd Staff issues The security gaurd and his friends loudly watched sports till 2am. It took 45 minutes to check in and I waited to check out while two employees gossiped about the manager. They said they were going to ask for copies of their job descriptions, so they could refuse to do anything that wasn't in writing. They then discussed how one of them has had a hard time finding her "niche,"since getting a degree in business. She manages online profiles and content for several clients. You know, like facebook and linkedin. It was a nice 10-20 minutes of eavesdropping due to laziness. When I rang the bell a third time the employee told me to wait a minute she was busy. We loved the hotel and the staff, but missed a pool and the location is very remote with no restaurant and opportunity to walk nearby. We did use the shuttle to go to dinner, but would have preferred to walk to a place, but the traffic is heavy and we did not want to drive after spending a day in the car. January 1, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, room a bit "tired" The staff were nice. Especially the breakfast staff. The room itself had a musty smell and the door lock did not open consistently, but the hotel was quiet and the room had a fridge and microwave. Overall good value for the price. December 16, 2015
