The guest room was also good, and The price was cheap, and touch of a receptionist was good, and all breakfasts were good. I think, I do like to hope to visit again. Thank you very much. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel when flying out early the next day The location is perfect since its with in walking distance from the airport terminal. The staff is friendly and the overall facility was nice. The only thing is there was no iron or ironing board in the room. We called to get one and had to pick it up at the front desk. May 17, 2013

Bed and bathroom were clean, although there was a problem with the wash hand basin. Staff were excellent, at check in and also the member of staff we reported the room problems to. May 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and stress free overnight stay with convenient parking Arrived after a three-hour drive from Kirriemuir, my wife and I felt stressed out and exhausted after being held up in a long tailback because of an accident at junction 19. Once booked in we went straight to the bar for a settler, oh boy did that lager taste good. We found the multi-tasking staff to be both polite and efficient. Instead of using the restaurant we settled for a hot snack in the lounge bar, the chips were the best I'd tasted in a long time. The hotel has a really relaxing atmosphere and with a comfortable bedroom we soon fell asleep after getting used to some minor traffic noise. Breakfast was hot and quite sufficient before departing on our flight to Lanzarote at 8.15 am. It only takes a few minutes under a covered walkway to reach terminal two, just as well because there was heavy rain going and coming back. On our return after two weeks we collected our car keys from reception, our car was parked in the conveniently located car park. All went well and our overnight stay passed smoothly. The Express is the best hotel to stay in if you don't want the hassle of an early morning drive and unexpected traffic jams. Go for it... you won't regret it! May 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed This is my second overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express. When I arrived I wAs given a key for a room on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff had not serviced the room with the bed unmade, etc. I was told to come downstairs to the lobby for another key which meant I had to wheel all my luggage onto the elevator and being a senior I was tired from traveling. I also do not agree with your policy of charging fifteen pounds on my credit card to make one local call. I realize the balance is credited back - but what a hassle. - you should review your policy. The heating system vent on the wall was blowing bits of dirt on to the bed. I did not want to sleep with bits of dirt flying around me so one of your staff provided me with a portable heater to warm up the room in case I was cold. May 15, 2013

The staff were wonderful to us each time we had to extend our stay. Very helpful, accommodating, and cheerful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone May 14, 2013
