Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GP North: Great stay, breakfast meh Great rooms, better than my stay at the south Holiday Inn in GP. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Three complaints (which are common to virtually all hotels, not just HI): 1. Not everyone likes big poofy pillows. Sure they're nice, but if a guest has neck issues then these are torture. Please stock 1 thin low loft one per room. 2. Breakfasts - Not equipped at all for the "difficult diet" crowd. The South location's breakfast buffet has more options for sure. Holiday Inn north did not have a single gluten free bread/cereal option. Lots of GF choices out there now that cost the same such as: Chex, Rice Krispies, Chia, etc... 3. Please also stock either a coconut, rice, almond, or soy based milk substitute. July 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly a good stay The only thing I didn't enjoy about my stay, is probably trivial to most. But when you travel for work and you get used to having your experience be the same where ever you go, it gives comfort and familiarity. Hard to come by traits of home. And one such thing is being greeted with smiling eye contact. Not only recognizing you as a member, but actually make you feel like they appreciate you being a gold member. Down the the little bag of goodies you receive. At just under $200 a room for the cheap ones, I clearly had to drive by a half dozen cheaper places to stay here. But most places make you feel like they acknowledge that fact, and appear grateful of it. I didn't get that experience here. While I don't know if this is standard treatment of their members, I did email the manager who reassured me this is not how they treat members. (I was just lucky I guess?) Anyway, I rely on reviews to decide where I stay, so I hope this helps someone. June 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Corporate Rates No corporate rates available. Most companies are given a budget, when we called for rates, we were quoted rates without the extra costs. Upon checkout there were several extra costs associated with the room not in the quoted rate. We often book several rooms for several nights at a time and this can add up. June 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Corporate rate denied Upon checking in, I mentioned I was there for business and mentioned the company. The woman that checked me in said I should have supplied the corporate information when I made the reservation, but she reluctantly said she'd looked it up. When I checked out, there was no change. She was lazy or incompetent. I wasn't happy, and will take my business elsewhere on future visits to Grande Prairie AB. June 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and good parking Nice hotel. I had stayed there before. Room was clean. It's nice to have a microwave in the room so I could make tea as I am not a coffee drinker. The bed was not the best, I would recommend getting a new mattress but that was only one bed, the other bed seemed fine. Sufficient breakfast choices and friendly staff, not only at the counter but also in the breakfast room. June 1, 2014
