Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Management HIE Grande Prairie management is by far the worst I have ever experienced and I have been a loyal Priority Club member for 28 years. My toilet would not work and there was no one on staff to fix it. The desk mgr inspected it and agreed it was not usable. He could not switch me to another room because they were sold out. So I had to use the lobby washroom that night and morning. When I returned from work I spoke with the M.O.D. and she said the toilet was not broken and the plumber couldn't find anything wrong. She admitted the Night mgr saw that it was in disrepair. She asked what I would like as compensation for my inconvenience and I asked for 20,000 pts or a free nights stay - which I have recieved in the past for far less of an issue. The Mgr called me back later and said 5,000 pts and the GM would call me when she returned from Holiday. This call never happened. So let's tally this up: A broken toilet, and a GM that doesn't keep her word. I will never stay at this location again. September 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not just average joe I am a business traveller and stay at a Holiday inn 3-4 nights every week across Canada and U S, high season or low season doesn't matter. But at this hotel I got treated like I just walked in off the street or less, actually I was there when a person walked in off the street and was offered a better rate than what I was charged! Not much appreciation for valued customers I guess. Who cares... Right? They will fill the hotel anyway, I guess is their thought ! Platinum member doesn't really mean anything. No automatic upgrade I was told because they were full but guy off street got a suite at a better rate after. Anyway....... September 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express Grande Prairie We arrived at the hotel and the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, completing the check-in in a friendly manner. Our room was well appointed with all the necessities and a few luxuries as well! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The breakfast room was clean and the food was delicious. The overall service in the hotel was wonderful and we made an excellent choice for our stay! September 11, 2014
