Had a less than satisfactory stay in room 214 recently. The room is directly behind the elevators on the second floor. Noise not so much from the elevators but it appeared that the ice machine or some other equipment was the source of constant noise. I was fortunate to be able to sleep with ear plugs but overall not a good choice for those who would be bothered more that I by this noise. Everything else was fair. Also at check in no recognition for priority club membership (e.g., no water etc.).

Found the rooms clean and comfortable, the staff very freindly and helpful with knowledge of the local area and the beds very nice and comfy.

After staying at the HIE multiple times in the past few weeks, I have found the service very good. Staff are very accomodating and willing to help. Rooms are clean and well presented, overall this hotel is good value for the Grand Prairie area.

Had a nice, comfortable stay at the GP Holiday Inn. There was even a 'Guest Appreciation Evening' with free pizza and beer!! Can't beat that! Pool looked nice but I didn't use it. Fitness area is kinda small and cramped...

Usually you can rely on the Holiday Inn Express brand to be consistant. Not the case for this hotel. Service was not great. My reservation was incorrect. I made my reservation over the phone with the manager for 9 rooms. When we showed up only 6 were booked. They also screwed up my bill twice. And the breakfast was not the same as many of the other Express hotels I've stayed at.

I wanted to write about the fact it took 4 days for dry cleaning services. I am hoping it wasn't due to the fact that I was staying for 25 days. I wish I would have been advised that it was going to be a while. It was a good thing that I was there for that period. Had I been there for 2 days, I never would have got my dry cleaning back.
