Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hockey fans My husband, my daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a hockey game at the Giant Center. We have been staying here for the last two seasons. The room we stayed in needed a bit of TLC. This was the first time we stayed on the first floor and perhaps that made a difference. The breakfast selection seemed to be smaller than usual and the pancake maker was having issues. The staff were not very helpful fixing it. The price was good but we may check out other hotels in the area for our next stay. January 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Stay All in all the stay was nice. The rooms heater was on full blast when I checked in so the temperature was quite warm. So I shut off the unit for the rest of the evening. Room was clean but the shower had plaster that was breaking off pretty bad above the shower head. Hotel needs some modern updates but was reasonably priced. January 19, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little worn but clean Stayed here for 2 nights. First night the safety latch wouldn't work, propped an ironing board up against the door, went down in the morning and the staff was very apologetic and it was fixed immediately. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. It was wonderful having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The only con was breakfast. The first day the pancake machine wasn't working properly and the second day the pancakes were rubbery and some sort of "cheese omelet" that you could use in the NBA was on the breakfast bar. Had a yogurt and called it done. I would stay here again. Right across the street was a shopping center with a convenience store, a Chinese Buffet, a sports bar, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendys and an amazing diner where I had dinner. January 17, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dec 26-Dec 29 2014 Hotel was very convenient to Hershey attractions and nearby restaurants were within walking distance. Could hear the train passing frequently during the night--tracks run within 100 feet or so of the hotel. Roach was on the side of the other bed mattress on arrival--wonder if pet friendly hotel increases the risk of roaches with pet food being in rooms. Black mold in bathroom caulking was present. Both negatives were brought to attention of front desk on leaving. Front desk manager said hotel would take care of problems. Front desk was very responsive to problems with dryer in laundry room downstairs, and provided some free soap powder for washer when asked. Breakfast in great room had a good choice of foods. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk staff needs to smile more As amenities are concerned I have no complaints, the room was great the breakfast was good. The only thing that made the stay less than perfect is the front desk staff. There was no smile and greetings when I checked in, just a cold check in. December 31, 2014
