Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not great beds For the price that we paid for this hotel you would expect great beds. I would call them very mediocre at best. The hotel was OK but lacked the quality you would expect for rooms at that price. The location is good and I am sure that is why they can demand the price they do but quite frankly I will try one of the other hotels in area next time and hope for better beds. March 21, 2013

The breakfast was wonderful and hostess kept coming around offering more fresh cooked bacon while we ate. March 18, 2013

He was VERY professional and helpful at that late hour and we had a sick child and all very tired by that time. Re: the hotel itself, it's about average for a newer HIExpress. The shower in our room was non-functional, and when we complained to the front desk they relocated us to another room for the duration of our stay. February 7, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice people, terrible hotel Staff was friendly, yet, very unhelpful. When asked how to fix the heat in my 54 degree room, the response was "that's weird." And nothing came of it. Not only was the room a chilly 54 degrees, and took hours to get up to a normal temperature...the air that came out of the vent smelled like old musty socks. However, in the workout room (that had 1 treadmill, 1 bike and 1 elliptical), heat was not a problem - at a soaring 95 degrees, you got a good sweat just standing in there - and no option to turn the air down. I thought the gremlins were trying to come in via the bathroom fan, because there was an incessant knocking when the fan was off, and the only way to make it go away was to leave the fan on - which is an extremely annoying sound. If I did not sleep in the very middle of the bed, I thought I was going to roll off and the bed was going to break with any move that I made. Finally, after a long day of travel and working, I wanted to relax and watch a little TV, but my room had access to only 5 channels, and one of those was in a different language - thank goodness I brought my Kindle. I have stayed at better Holiday Inn's in VA, FL and MD, for a much better price and was thoroughly disappointed in this experience and will not return. January 21, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses I stayed in this one was not "up to standard". Lobby and rooms were poorly lighted, seemed "dingy". Guest bathrooms did not have body lotion, mouth wash nor shower gel. Just one bar of soap and shampoo. Desk area was worn with missing light bulb in the desk lamp. Breakfast buffet did not have hot water for tea so they allowed me to go into the kitchen for hot water. As a priiority customer upon check in I was not recognized and brought it to the person's attention and got 1 bottle of water for doing so. The cookies were on a bare plate at the counter with no cover, no tongs, no napkins. January 15, 2013

The breakfast was good and a variety of choices.Our rooms were kept nice since we were there for 4 days and will return there in 6months, for another 4 day stay. The only concern I have is with your coffee. I am noe a fan of your coffee. October 26, 2012
