Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly welcome but rooms could have been better I was disappointed to have to pay a £50 deposit for possible damage to the room and had seen no notification of this when booking. The pillows were ridiculously small although the receptionist replaced them with better ones. Only 2 tea bags and 2 small milk in the room on arrival! I appreciate you are avoiding waste but have you tried to make a mug of tea with one milk sachet? November 24, 2014

Just a clean and tidy hotel, only the location is not the best one you could imagine (25 min. walk from city center). November 24, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Breakfast Ever This hotel offered the worst breakfast I have ever experienced in any hotel. The 'orange' juice was more like badly flavoured water. The sausages were like dust and the scrambled eggs were dry and hard. The coffee was like water. Not an experience I will be repeating. November 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good and Bad The hotel and rooms are tired and need updating but I do note there is work under way in the reception. Bed and pillows are soft. There seems to be no difference between firm and soft. Ignored in bar even though there were no others present. Good location though for sport. The plates in the breakfast bar are inadequate for serving hot food, they were only just bigger than tea plates. The hotel is not a horror but it is time for improvement. November 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Review Staff members I have interacted with were very professional and courteous. In terms of the rooms, they are always clean and tidy. The one aspect that needs significant improvement is the food serviced at breakfast. I have previously raised a compliant regarding this but it continue to be below satisfactory levels. There is no taste to the food serviced at breakfast and as a result I have boycotted eating breakfast. As breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it would be ideal for this area of the hotel to improve. Best regards, David White November 10, 2014
