We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel. I do get annoyed to be charged for parking though when it's not really a town centre hotel, but a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is sometimes chaos and a smile from some staff would be nice instead of making me feel that they can't wait for breakfast to be over. Plenty to eat though. A two sided queuing system that meets in the middle at the OK Corral Toaster is not a good idea. It would improve things if the toaster was relocated as a separate queuing area. Other guests agreed with me on these points by the way. Bar grossly over priced. As a priority club member, my one use only card for the bar for a 15% discount was disappointing. As I was there 3 nights, I felt 3 uses would have been better. It was only about £1.20 off 2 drinks anyway. Room was clean and comfy, bit stingy on coffee and tea makings, 1 cup each per day. Beds were ok, my mattress had obviously been crushed and I felt myself lying in a bowl, not great for bad backs as I have. Overall though, a pleasant stay. Reception Staff were great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DonnyDave Good Clean hotel, shame about the bed
Lovely staff who were really helpful and friendly. Good location, just a few minutes walk from the university and the Brayford Pool (lots of good places to eat there!).
Only two negatives - the bed and being charged for parking.
The Bed was uber soft & bouncy, and it felt like we could feel the springs. Not to our taste at all.
And whats this car parking fee all about?? Going the way of Ryan air and charging extra for things you cant avoid.
Overall a pleasant stay though, thanks largely to the staff.

The only thing that spoils this hotel is the toiletries. I hate coconut!!! I wish they would change the fragrance or have unfragranced. It would otherwise be excellent. It is close to the centre and shops

We were really chuffed with this hotel. We booked about a week in advance for what we thought was a really good price. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre, so an ideal location for exploring. It is very modern and the room was lovely - a really comfy bed, sofa bed and flat screen TV. It wasn't overly spacious but perfectly big enough for the two of us. Fab bathroom - very clean and modern, although no bath (which wasn't a problem for us, but worth bearing in mind if this is important for you!). The staff were great, really helpful and friendly. The bar/lounge area is very pleasant and we were very happy with the express/self service breakfast. No problem getting a table and a nice selection foods.

We booked this hotel for its central location and the offer of breakfast. We were very happy with this hotel as it was very centrally located and offered a good breakfast. There are tea/coffee facilities and a tv in the room. This hotel offers great value for money.
